Crystal sings like a dream, making the song hers with perfect pitch rather than overpowering the song with her incredible voice. A true professional. I didn't know about Frankie's passing and I'm saddened by this news. Thanks to his talent, he will never be forgotten.
Mr. Frankie Knuckles could make magic with any song he touched, I never knew there were so many different remixes of this song, this one is SO smooth, I only had the Red Hot Rio one, but had I known about this version I would have worn it out the way I did ALL of Crystal Waters' songs :)
Frankie was a personal friend of mine. He worked his magic at my 24th Birthday party at Roxy in NYC...I have more than 6,000 people feeling fabulous....lol. Love this mix and miss Frankie. I was lucky enough to enjoy some of his talented DJing back in the 90's. The Whistle Song was one of his classics.
