  • Earlier this month, in a celebration to mark the centennial of the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb, Egyptologist and historian Professor Aidan Dodson gave an in-person talk on “The Modern Resurrection of Tutankhamun” at the AUC Tahrir Cultural Center. His much-anticipated book 'Tutankhamun, King of Egypt: His Life and Afterlife,' published by AUC Press, will be out in December 2022. To read more about the book, go to www.amazon.com...

It is a shame that the camera wasn't focused on the screen behind Prof. Dodson, for video viewers. Liked the subject and very interesting just the same.

I have listened to several of Dr, Dodson's recent lectures which he gave at different times and places. I learn something new each time. Dr. Dodson so loves his subject that he tells us about even little details without completely depending upon a written speech that is repeated word for word, location to location.

He’s the best. And I love his voice and delivery style I often use it to fall asleep to, so soothing.☺

The study in 2005 seems to say that he had both a club foot and a cleft palate. Does anyone dispute that he had a cleft palate?

Very interesting, thanks for sharing this. Could you please turn on CC (subtitles) option so that CZcams can perform speech recognition on the video
