He did redeem himself, by realizing that Javi, despite the fact that he is not his father, but his uncle, but a great dad to him. Right now, only the cold-hearted Gabe haters are glad he can die. I'm glad his death is determinant, the best ending, in my personal opinion, is when he and Kate survives. But the thing is, when a character has a determinant death, they can still die sooner. I wish he survives, regardless of your choices. You were a good kid, Gabe. You may be annoying to a lot of us, but you did have a good heart. R.I.P. Gabe.

I got nervous when Gabe asked for another hug, like he could turn in that moment but it was so sad when he got shot. Gabe was such a realistic character in a scenario like he was in. Very underrated character and his death hurts the most in this specific game (not counting the other seasons) So glad there are other options for what happens to him

When Clem Said" Gabe No!" You can hear the emotion and fear in her voice and how much she cares about him i remeber this sadness happening only with Lee I think Gabe was her only love interest and her possible best friend. The Music and The Voice acting makes this scene even more emotional its my favourite scene in the entire season. When he Said"Do me a Favor Clem..." And she said no I think she was thinking he was asking her to shoot him and she was scared to do so because its lee all over again except with someone to share it with.
What hits me most is the fact that there will be no more Javier in the future. All the variety of endings just confirms that this is all we'll ever see of him and this just makes me sad. I don't care what you say, but this season was just as good as the others. Fight me if you dare to.
I completed the episode and decided to watch the other choices. All of them broke my heart. Gabe was similar to Ben. He wanted to step up and prove himself to the group that they could count on him. David was only trying to look out for his family and protect them. I knew that he was aggressive but that is understandable considering that it is the Apocalypse and that he lost so much. I look forward to see what Season 4 brings to us all.
This is the ending I originally got when I played the game for the first time (except Clementine's interaction with him was slightly different). It feels the most fitting for Gabe's character in all honesty. Either way, this scene is very well done with some great acting.

This was one of the saddest deaths ever in the walking dead games because of the music, he is only 14, and Clem crying like that. In my play through, I got this ending and I was like NO, (restarted the whole story) ok I escaped with Kate and gabe but not David... I'm happy.

I’m glad my 1st try didn’t happen like this because that’s sad asf. I was sympathetic and able to be patient with Gabe the whole way and he turned out to be pretty great to Javier at the end. Hearing that he wanted to grow up to be like Javier was heartwarming.

This made me feel like he was actually my son. I never hated him. In fact, all his impulsive behavior made me fear for his life.
I completed the episode and decided to watch the other choices. All of them broke my heart. Gabe was similar to Ben. He wanted to step up and prove himself to the group that they could count on him. David was only trying to look out for his family and protect them. I knew that he was aggressive but that is understandable considering that it is the Apocalypse and that he lost so much. I look forward to see what Season 4 brings to us all.

This is the ending I originally got when I played the game for the first time (except Clementine's interaction with him was slightly different). It feels the most fitting for Gabe's character in all honesty. Either way, this scene is very well done with some great acting.

The FritoDorito lmao mine was the opposite when I played, I cried when David died and he said "Te Quiero, Javier." I think it's because the soundtrack was a lot more emotional on Davids death.

I think one of the reasons why this scene always makes me cry is that i can relate with Gabe. Always feeling like a fuck up when you were just trying to help. Blaming yourself for everything wrong. Feeling like a failure. Rip to my boy Gabe
This was one of the saddest deaths ever in the walking dead games because of the music, he is only 14, and Clem crying like that. In my play through, I got this ending and I was like NO, (restarted the whole story) ok I escaped with Kate and gabe but not David... I'm happy.

I hate to say it, but this is honestly the best ending. More emotionally impactful than David's death and Kate is still alive (her death always bothered me, even the one where you saw her as a walker)

I’m glad my 1st try didn’t happen like this because that’s sad asf. I was sympathetic and able to be patient with Gabe the whole way and he turned out to be pretty great to Javier at the end. Hearing that he wanted to grow up to be like Javier was heartwarming.
