In my play through I rejected Kate and told David that I didn't touch her and he still came at me. I said I love you all 3 times and that all made the scene 300 times more sad. Cuz when she kisses him and he just says I love you it don't make it seem as genuine. But if you stayed loyal to David and stayed just friends with Kate the whole game, it just makes it so much more sad and emotional.
When I did this I denied Kate and the relationship aswell but as I got punched in the face I thought about loving my brother but all the times he bullshitted I finally had enough so I had to put the hands on him
He doesn't give an excuse whatsoever he wanted to had argument with you despite the choices you choose of siding with him through out the episode, he still somewhat being an asshole brother towards Javi calls him a selfish and saying he always cares about himself and despite if you didn't cheat with Kate. David still wanted to fight with you which is very dumb and completely so stupid, telltale says your choices matters but the outcome of your choices is still the same.
But it'll take time. You just can't get used it a few minutes after getting shot. It was even more BS that Clem survived her gunshot wound in Season 2.
I can't sympathize with David at all. He was always reckless and hotheaded, only following his own head without thinking anything through. He was a soldier, but he also acted as his own commander: he gave himself rapidly fabricated and straightforward orders, and he followed them. He jumped at Javi's throat without a second thought. He hit Gabe in the head with a wrench without even realizing he did something he did not want to and stop to make sure he did not cause any serious injuries to his own son. He said so himself: he was no father, nor husband. Family was an illusion to David. He was ready to kill his own brother out of pure anger. He deemed that killing his own brother is more important than his son's physical wellbeing. He talks about how important blood is, yet proceeds to spill that of his brother's. David failed his family.
Wasn't much better before the dead started moving. How many times did he get pissy with Javi just the littlest stuff (looking at you bating cages flashback).

I hated David since begininng, in my game i acted asshole to him everytime, i didn't refuse to take his hand after he punched Javi, i choose to leave with Kate because he was about to send off Javi back to the road, i didn't stand with him on the ledge because after killed Rufus, broke Ferns arm and tries to kill her, even though he could have just grab the gun without breaking her arm, i took his wife Kate because she is deserve belongs to Javi, and finally in my ending Kate and Gabriel live as for David he dies
There is a similarity but i dont think its the same. Kate left an asshole guy she didnt love anymore for a guy who is good and love her too. Lori slept with an asshole guy she never really loved but returned to her good husband immediately when he returned. So tbh, Kate is better than Lori.
This was my favorite part of the final episode. Very finely written and acting work. I loved it. I kept getting the impression David was going to try and kill Javi at some point, and this was it. It'seither scary, but awesome that Javi finally stops putting up with David's crap and nails him several times. OR It's heartwarming, but also sad that Javi refuses to stop loving his brother and David still hates him for supposedly taking Kate from him (even if that's not even true). It's also just sad in general that no matter what you do, David and Javi's brotherhood is destroyed and because David takes Gabe and tries to leave, it's impossible for Javi to keep all three of his remaining family members alive. He can save one or two at most, but not all three. 😢

Kate instigated this whole fight. She cause a fallout between them all because she couldn't keep her fucking mouth shut. Granted, if she'd of just spoken up to David sooner about her feelings towards him, this shit may have been avoided. David's not a perfect character, but Kate led him on to believing she still loved him and she tried having an affair with his own brother. He doesn't deserve that. I'd pick him and Gabe over Kate any day.

when you keep saying i love you and up on top says you kept your promise... probably the best scene in the game. This game wasn't like season one or two, but this part really made me feel like if I were in the game :D
What I did was I said I love you once then fought against David and clem pointed the gun at David and then clem went after gabe and David I went with Kate and both gabe and Kate are alive and Kate wants a family with me so overall I think my game probably ended with the best good ending possible
That's what I got too, though I squeezed one more "I love you" in before fighting back. Although I was a little disappointed in David's death, I was satisfied with my ending overall.

No wonder why Kate wants to be with the main character even more than she is with David. Unlike David, Javier was always caring towards her and be there for her and the kids during the apocalypse for 4 years. Yes i agree cheating is wrong she shouln't banged on his brother. But its David's fault he is the indirect cause of why Kate's cheating on Javi if David would have been good husband from the start and return for his family in the first place then Kate wouldn't have been cheated on David and the fight scene between Javi & David would had never happened.
I still don’t get why in the world would Gabe ever want to go with David in this situation (if not for lazy writing). I mean the guy straight up tried to murder his brother, the guy who took care of him during so long, saw him become almost crazy right in front of his eyes and even hurt him purposefully with that wrench.
Well since David is his father he wanted to be with his dad as well since they haven't met for years, i know Gabe shouldn't have go with David since it was reckless especially they were in the city that full hundreds of hordes and they could have been killed, but i do understand why he wants to go with his father.
Definitely a strong moment. Absolutely loved season 3s story and voice acting. Best ending was definitely Javi, David, and gabe 100%. Easily teared up when i first did this play through. Luckily had Clem go for gabe so I went for David.

This scene took me by surprise and made me cry. I rejected Kate (I disliked her since the very beginning- how the fuck could you make advances towards your husband's little brother?!) and backed up David many times. It's so sad to see what he could have done despite telling him you loved him if it wasn't for Clem shooting that zombie. I'm just glad I managed to get Javi to keep his promise for his dad till the end.

was i the only person who genuinely really liked david? it was clear that he had his own demons. which he demonstrated in many ways, but when you looked behind his faults you see a man who was doing his best to protect his family, even though was continuously betrayed... by joan and kate to an extent. it was clear that the father was not a bad influence on david in the slightest, and that showed- with david feeling at home in the army rather than with his family. dont get me wrong he was an asshole sometimes but i really liked his character.

Sorry but I'm really dissapointed that way this episode panned out. Firstly i was fkin loyal to David like hell. Always sided with him, stuck to his plan, even rejected Kate because he was her husband. Denied the relationship (which was true) and after all that, he still fkin beat me down. Seriously wtf Telltale. You might as well just be a dick to David from the start because whatever you do with him he'll always be the same dude at the end. Glad I chose the ending where he was dead, he was better off in the ground than Kate or Gabe. Next season i hope that choices actually matter more for once, Telltale.
Tbh it made it more emotional the fact you were staying loyal to David all the way and the 2 brothers fight. IF you weren't loyal to David throughout the game that scene would never be as emotional.

This was so intense when I played this first time my heart dropped with back to back tough choices especially with clem or Kate that was really tough. I love season 1 my all time favorite with season 4 and season 2 at 2nd but season 3 this was so intense gotta give telltale some props especially if you cared for Gabe and loved kate and even tried to love David at the very last moment or even fighting him. These feels were as intense as Kenny vs jane was

I hated David since begininng, in my game i acted asshole to him everytime, i didn't refuse to take his hand after he punched Javi, i choose to leave with Kate because he was about to send off Javi back to the road, i didn't stand with him on the ledge because after killed Rufus, broke Ferns arm and tries to kill her, even though he could have just grab the gun without breaking her arm, i took his wife Kate because she is deserve belongs to Javi, and finally in my ending Kate and Gabriel live as for David he dies

This was my favorite part of the final episode. Very finely written and acting work. I loved it. I kept getting the impression David was going to try and kill Javi at some point, and this was it. It'seither scary, but awesome that Javi finally stops putting up with David's crap and nails him several times. OR It's heartwarming, but also sad that Javi refuses to stop loving his brother and David still hates him for supposedly taking Kate from him (even if that's not even true). It's also just sad in general that no matter what you do, David and Javi's brotherhood is destroyed and because David takes Gabe and tries to leave, it's impossible for Javi to keep all three of his remaining family members alive. He can save one or two at most, but not all three. 😢

Kate instigated this whole fight. She cause a fallout between them all because she couldn't keep her fucking mouth shut. Granted, if she'd of just spoken up to David sooner about her feelings towards him, this shit may have been avoided. David's not a perfect character, but Kate led him on to believing she still loved him and she tried having an affair with his own brother. He doesn't deserve that. I'd pick him and Gabe over Kate any day.

when you keep saying i love you and up on top says you kept your promise... probably the best scene in the game. This game wasn't like season one or two, but this part really made me feel like if I were in the game :D
What I did was I said I love you once then fought against David and clem pointed the gun at David and then clem went after gabe and David I went with Kate and both gabe and Kate are alive and Kate wants a family with me so overall I think my game probably ended with the best good ending possible
mine to spent 5 episode trying to hit that and now she finally given it up.
There is a way to get David to stay, but yeah, you probably got the best ending.

I still don’t get why in the world would Gabe ever want to go with David in this situation (if not for lazy writing). I mean the guy straight up tried to murder his brother, the guy who took care of him during so long, saw him become almost crazy right in front of his eyes and even hurt him purposefully with that wrench.
Well since David is his father he wanted to be with his dad as well since they haven't met for years, i know Gabe shouldn't have go with David since it was reckless especially they were in the city that full hundreds of hordes and they could have been killed, but i do understand why he wants to go with his father.
Definitely a strong moment. Absolutely loved season 3s story and voice acting. Best ending was definitely Javi, David, and gabe 100%.

This scene took me by surprise and made me cry. I rejected Kate (I disliked her since the very beginning- how the fuck could you make advances towards your husband's little brother?!) and backed up David many times. It's so sad to see what he could have done despite telling him you loved him if it wasn't for Clem shooting that zombie. I'm just glad I managed to get Javi to keep his promise for his dad till the end.

was i the only person who genuinely really liked david? it was clear that he had his own demons. which he demonstrated in many ways, but when you looked behind his faults you see a man who was doing his best to protect his family, even though was continuously betrayed... by joan and kate to an extent. it was clear that the father was not a bad influence on david in the slightest, and that showed- with david feeling at home in the army rather than with his family. dont get me wrong he was an asshole sometimes but i really liked his character.

Sorry but I'm really dissapointed that way this episode panned out. Firstly i was fkin loyal to David like hell. Always sided with him, stuck to his plan, even rejected Kate because he was her husband. Denied the relationship (which was true) and after all that, he still fkin beat me down. Seriously wtf Telltale. You might as well just be a dick to David from the start because whatever you do with him he'll always be the same dude at the end. Glad I chose the ending where he was dead, he was better off in the ground than Kate or Gabe. Next season i hope that choices actually matter more for once, Telltale.
Tbh it made it more emotional the fact you were staying loyal to David all the way and the 2 brothers fight. IF you weren't loyal to David throughout the game that scene would never be as emotional.

Yeah but what cost ? Salvador never got to see his son Javi fullfill his promise to be brothers towards David and besides David hates it the way Javi expresses his love towards him as tries to denies it and tries to kill his own younger brother. Even in the ending where Gabe and David lives, David stated to Javi that he couldn't changed because they at war that will never end and despite if you convince him back to Richmond, there is no peaceful brotherly relationship between Javi and David. Honestly what is even the point ? Telltale says "your choices matters" but your choices doesn't have any effect at all. What is the point of being a good brother towards David and sided with him through out the episode when you can't even have a peaceful relationship with David ?! Honestly your choices is irrelevant
