Harley Rolling Burnout Gone Wrong on the Poker Run-Raising Money For Sick Kids

Unfortunately I've injured my back so couldn't ride but we are on our way to raise money for sick kids so the show must go on in this episode we head up to Echuca and join in on the poker run organised by Team Laidback to get some more money in the bank for the kids and their families in the bush as part of the Riverina Redneck Rally. The money is to help kids and their families access medical treatment and accommodation when they have to travel from the bush to the city for treatment, all donations are appreciated and by clicking the link below you can help change the lives of sick kids and their families

Poker runs for kids is the same the world over. A bunch of “scary” blokes raising money to help. Motorcycle people are probably some of the most generous folks the world over.

Hope all is good with you, I am supposed to be going to Prague in the Czech Republic in 6 weeks for lens replacement on my peepers, I was due to go 2yr ago but covid stuffed that up, this Ukrainian business is a worry-- Putin is deranged 👍👍👍

It’s a worry mate, I’d be getting some travel advice first, who knows what the situation will be in six weeks, yeah it was a bit of a bugger for the poor bloke, just glad he was ok 👌, bikes can be fixed, good luck with the travel plans

Do you go to the pubs in advance and give them cards or does the organiser issue cards at each stop? I am a member of a military motorcycle club and would like to something similar.

Hi mate, the organisers issue cards at each pub, the pubs are contacted in advance, most times they’ll put on a sausage sizzle for you especially if you’re going to turn up with a few blokes, we generally approach the local businesses in the area and let them know what we’re raising money for and they will most times donate something as a prize

This is why I will not go on a “poker run”, too many unknown riders, weekend riders who want to show off , power drinkers who think they can still ride, etc. I will meet up with them at the last stop, make my donation and participate in the after party, but I refuse to do the run.
