A Mother’s Fight for a Cure

Amber Freed became a mom to twins in 2017, but as time passed Amber noticed her son was not progressing like his sister. After many doctor visits her son was diagnosed with a rare neurological condition called SLC6A1. For 7 years Amber has been fighting and advocating for treatments and a cure not only for her son, but for others living with the disease.
