I would like to know why salvation is pre-conditional? According to fundamentalists, it's not just a question of accepting Jesus either, but you have to live your life by bronze age biblical standards. When you listen to some of these money-grubbing, holier-than-thou fundamentalist pastors here on You Tube, they make it quite clear that in order to be "saved" you must firstly remove all sin from your life, and that even includes "thought crime" (e.g such as looking at a woman with lust.) They're forever telling the rest of us (and most especially other Christians), that only members of their particular CULT have been saved, whereas most everyday Christians have not. However, they certainly can't demonstrate to other people they've been saved as they claim. (Here is an interesting fact that many aren't aware of. Did you know that according to Gnostic Christians, God doesn't care if you're an atheist or not? You will not be condemned for it, or for simply walking away from the faith for that matter. That sounds more like a loving God to me.)

This is sad. I had a tremendously spiritual awakening. I was accused of having had a subjective biased experience with no evidence. My experience was the opposite of subjective & biased because it happened to someone who was committed to a narrative of Self Worship (as subjective as it gets). What happened to me was uninvited, unexpected & undeserved, pure Unmerited Grace. As a former Cosmic Nihilist/Atheist I can attest to the fact that what occurred was a visceral intrusion upon my being by Holy Spirit. There was no rhyme or reason for this to happen from any logical sense given my past or personal beliefs. I was just as angry & asking for ‘proof’ as any of the multitudes of atheists I have met. None of them smiled, none of them were fulfilled, none of them loving or kind. Dead eyed, soulless, mean, contrarian snobby a holes. I am Grateful to not be part of the camp of people filled with resentment against God, exiled to the Desert of Self, chasing their own mirage believing in Nothing. It’s a Death Sentence.

    • @Specialeffecks
      @Specialeffecks Před 3 měsíci

PLEASE tell me you did the bare minimum and asked this Holy Spirit for "two forms of valid ID" (the DMV asks for three when I'm standing right in front of them!).
If not, next time it intrudes you (unless the Spirit says 'this is the last visit'), please remember: 1) please ask for its ID (or another way to verify its identity), 2) please ask it what it will do tomorrow. Please ask nicely (rather than angrily) for the address, time, and the name of its next intrusion target/person.
      (Number 2 is more important).
Then me and a couple of buddies would love to join you to verify that it shows up at that time, place, and for that person. Maybe we can meet at the address a few minutes after the time it gives you - so as not to disturb the Spirit’s work. Then we can knock at the door to talk to the intruded person it had identified - to begin to verify such an event.
If valid, the person should give a similar account to yours. (We can even ask this person to repeat this verification process to improve the error bar of our test).
This should give us great non-subjective evidence - and will be fun to boot!
I have no resentment against any god but I'm hoping you are just as curious as I am to verify, unless you can suggest an even more objective method to accomplish this verification and help others to believe.
      Sound like a plan?

If nothing else, it would make life meaningless. Where’s the good in that? Christians like to say their deity gave humans “free will” because it didn’t want robots. But if we “lived” for eternity doing nothing but this deity’s will, how would we not be robots? Eternity as a robot is infinitely repulsive, never mind spent in the company of Lee Strobel, J. I don't know all things or pretend to know how things work, but I can't deny what I've experienced, or see it as just something in my head, as I also have witnesses to some events. However, I do believe we do need to question some things so it's not harmful to others or ourselves. Just like human vision, we need to understand that we may not comprehend all things straight away or know that there's more than what the natural eye perceives. But things do exist outside our current understanding, and I'm eager to find out what that is and if it can be used to bring about a better state of happiness to all if wanted. I believe a being called christ did exist and figured out how existence works and knew how to hack the system in a way that could uplift us all. I'm not against positive change as long as it's not forced or interpreted wrongly.

I’m currently reading the Bible for the first time. I want to see for myself the content that so many believe. Juddi Krishnamurti says there is no god, that one will find truth if they look inward at themselves. Through ongoing investigation into this matter I also find that the bible is taken literally by many. People believe that there was a Noah’s Ark or Adam and Eve serpent. etc. Bill Donahue has many videos explaining the Bible where it is not taken literally but through allegory and parables, explains that the book is all about human consciousness. So I guess people will have to decide for themselves what works for them. Faith or investigation into the matter. To me, the fact there are even two contradictory religions in existence, each with convinced believers, each with their own set of justifications as to why they are absolutely right and the other is absolutely wrong ALONE is enough to make it OBVIOUS that if I was sitting here convinced that I was right - even with my handy set of justifications - that FOR CERTAIN I am extremely likely WRONG.
Combine this with the fact there are thousands, many with completely different concepts, some claiming NO gods, or many gods should put the thought to rest, dead and buried, and that it's laughable there was ever a long-lost hope of one’s religion being substantively correct.

The logical conclusion of your beliefs is that we don't know anything for certain about God, if He exists, or about what religion, if any, God endorses. We are left to guess about it all with no known way to prove our guess are right or wrong. Same for morality. If the Bible isn't true, then morality is subjective at best or does not exist at all. Quite the predicament.

So two people, one a devout Jew and the other a convert to Christianity, both damned by Nazi Germany, are sent to a gas chamber to die of Zyklon-B. The devout Jew prays "Shema Yisroel" and the Christian of Jewish origin prays the Lord's Prayer. Would a benevolent God send the devout Jew to Hell while sending the convert to Christianity to Heaven?

Fact 1: if U was born from the Spirit of God then U will never end up in a Lake of Fire (even if U no longer believe for decades).
Fact 2: calling Urself christian or even acting like one do not mean that U already born from the Spirit of God.
Fact 3: it is not reasonable to make video about christians and not explain what christian according to U is.
Fact 4: believing in God by no means that U are Saved, as it is necessary to believe true Gospel.
To make it simple to ALL:
    U calling Urself a christian?
What do U mean by term christian? Follower or disciple of Jesus Christ? Then Judas Iscariot was a christian also while he never believed?
In case U define that christians are only those that are born from the Spirit of God, then what about those that are Children of God (born from the Spirit of God) but live like devil? They will be in Heaven or in a Lake of Fire according to U?
U believe that dirt with stones means that these believers are Saved (never end up in a Lake of Fire) or not?
In case christians are only those that are born from the Spirit of God and also willingly chosen to serve God (be disciples of Jesus Christ), then how many Saved categories we have? Only christians are Saved? Or all Children of God irrespectve what they do or don't do?
    To ALL, especially christians:
In case that tales about Hell would be Truth, who of U would want to live for God, help others (pray, Evangelize and etc) instead just that God would kill U right now and take in Heaven?
Ur good news: trust God, repent for Ur sins, have hope, or more likely false hope, that U be Saved in the end, work hard for God but take zero credibility, play lottery, oops U failed and now U will burn in a Lake of Fire.
Do U really think it is good news? Either Eternal Life is Free Gift from God with Assurance and Security, or it is just a lottery with ur life and eternity that tend to end in a Lake of Fire.
    Here is the Good News:
Jesus Christ love U and died for Ur all sins (past, present and future) that U would be reconciled with God if U just believe that Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead according scriptures for U sinner. It is Free Gift so God expects that after U accept it then U act as He wants but it is up to U and once U have Eternal Life then U will never end up in Lake of Fire irrespective what U do or don't do. In other words, God give U Eternal Life (Hell Insurance) if U just believe and allow U to do what U want, and just face consequences for Ur bad actions in life. Should U submit Ur life for spreading of God Kingdom, be disciple of Jesus Christ? Yes, U should but not must for Eternal Salvation.
Regarding hardcore proponents of Lordship Salvation:
To the hypocrites like Urself ofc Jesus Christ suffering, death and resurrection from the dead for Ur sins by just believing is cheap grace, as Ur works+Obedience (Hard Grace) > Jesus Christ work (Cheap Grace).
U promoting 'Lottery gospel': works will not Save U, U need Saving Faith (calvinistic idea), believing is no enough without actions, U can't have any Eternal Security, Trust Jesus Christ and if U obey Him enough in particular space/time then U might be Saved and win 'Jackpot'. That is trusting Urself, no peace and great contradiction to real Gospel where Jesus Christ states that His yoke is easy and He will not cast anyone that will come to Him.
Think this way. In case, U are wrong regarding Gospel, U now on Ur way to Lake of fire. If U would believe Free Grace once now then U still could live as U live now (Lordship Salvation) for God all Ur life (or then U do what U want because only fear of punishment now hold U back, and actually Ur love for God is dead?). In case, U are right what U believe then U play in Lottery and expect to be Saved in the end.

You don't know what Judas believed. Jesus called Peter Satan at one point. You don't know what any of these people believed, how could you? The apostles except one didn't even know who Jesus was when they asked. Judas showed remorse.
But are you saying that people never believed? What do you mean, what does Judas even have to do with this? Who in their right mind would believe in Jesus but not follow him? It seems a demon was put in Judas in one Gospel, so did that make him betray? Kind of a set up if that happened, no?
The lake of fire is not in the Old Testament. How do you explain that?
How do you know it exists and is not a metaphor? Aren't there metaphors in the Bible and isn't John the most symbolic and weird of all? How do we know John was not making up a story to scare Romans, or that he was a bit loony, although a creative writer. No insult, but it's possible he was a very creative writer and possible prone to a mental illness or perhaps he used intoxicants. He was a human right? Will there be a real seven headed dragon? Jesus the failed end times preacher?
      ---------------------------------------------------------
*Jesus is clearly speaking to the disciples and gives a timeframe for when the Son of Man would come.*
"Jesus sent these twelve out, charging them, saying: Do not go into the way of the nations, and do not go into a Samaritan city. But rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And going on, proclaim, saying, The kingdom of Heaven has drawn near" (Matthew 10:5-7)
      “Truly I say to you, ***you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes”*** (Matthew 10:23);
For the *Son of man* shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; ***and then he shall reward every man according to his works.***
Truly I tell you, ***some who are standing here will not taste death*** before they see the *Son of Man* coming in his kingdom (Matthew 16:27-28)
Truly I tell you, ***some who are standing here*** will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God (Luke 9:27)
Truly I tell you, ***this generation will certainly not pass away*** until all these things have happened (Mark 13:30)
*He says that the coming of the Son of Man will be accompanied by:*
      The sun will be darkened,
      and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
Then will appear the sign of the *Son of Man* in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the *Son of Man* coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
Truly I tell you, ***this generation will certainly not pass away*** until all these things have happened (Matthew 24:29-34)
There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the *Son of Man* coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near. When you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.
Truly I tell you, ***this generation will certainly not pass away*** until all these things have happened (Luke 21:25-32)
He also falsely prophesied to the high priest, the Sanhedrin and Nathaniel.
*Jesus falsely prophesied to the high priest and the Sanhedrin*
Jesus also falsely prophesied to the high priest and the Sanhedrin (assemblies of either twenty-three or seventy-one rabbis appointed to sit as a tribunal)
You will see the *Son of Man* sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and ***coming on the clouds of heaven*** (Matthew 26:64) (Mark 14:62)
Except the high priest and the Sanhedrin never saw Jesus sitting at the right hand side of God, or coming on the clouds of heaven, or any such thing.
      *Jesus falsely prophesied to Nathaniel*
Jesus also falsely prophesied to Nathaniel when he declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.”
Jesus said, You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that. He then added, ***“Very truly I tell you, you will see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man*** (John 1:50-51)
