- I used Topaz Video Enhancer AI to upscale the original video file from 640x448 resolution to 4K. The image upscale is impressive and is noticeable. The video is LOSELESS! so you will be buffering most of the time when playing this video. I'd heavily recommend waiting for the video to load before playing.
This was 7 hours in the making (3 hour upload time) with many trials and errors with audio missing and resolution changing from one program to another. Please share this around, not to support my channel but to show others what 4K upscaling can do when used properly and especially a cleaner look on the Berserk PS2 Intro. - Hry
Loved this game. It captured everything to the best of the ps2's abilities - a real gem. The developers must have been true fans. That theme still makes my soul soar. I really wish they could do this again, the entire Berserk saga as a game with this type of dedication.
Gameplay wasn't really the best but the atmosphere was amazing

Played it on Steam Deck. 1000 times, actually infinitly times better than 2016 anime.

I think I still have the Berserk game 2017 intro 4K upscale but haven't uploaded it. I think it was like 8GB for that 1 video.
Barring some minor artifacts, the results are indeed good! Could you do a second version showcasing the original resolution and this upscaled video, side by side? I undestand if it isn't possible, it takes time and work.
Got to see if I kept the OG file. Then I can do a comparison frame by frame.

What's up with the background instruments resounding like that?
I had trouble with the audio after upscaling it and doing all that. Because the upscaler for some reason stuff up the audio so I had to do it again through another software. Basically I had to go through different hoops to get to the stage it's at now. Wasn't happy at the end of it because of the audio and I honestly had enough of trying to fix it.

Although this is a big request and idk if possible, it would be cool if you could upload the cutscenes in high quality as well
Guess what mate. Have already been thinking about doing them. However it would take a considerate amount of time and I only have 26 days left to upscale all cutscenes to 4K (on a timed trial). I wanted to do that first for the Band of the Hawk game since those cutscenes are cooler IN MY OPINION.
