cool. my dumb ender3 clone has been having a lot of extrusion issues lately (ive switched the nozzle and cleaned the hotend). Would be nice if it self calibrated.
Do yourself a favour you F oo l bin that crap & get A1 mini
Thank me later you dirty 💼
agree
But does it work on a textured PEI plate ?
Yes
It comes with it
3 hours till mine arrives!
wouldnt it be too much preassure = overextrusion and too little preassure = underextrusion?
Yup. It has a pressure transducer above the nozzle to feel exactly that
Yes but he saud it wrong in the Video
I'm kinda stuck with this dilemma too, my thinking is that if the nozzle isn't able to extrude fast enough, pressure will build up, thus *higher pressure = under extrusion* and vice versa, but still not sure yet
backpressure is caused by partial blockage = under extrusion
Unless we know how exactly it is implemented works out of the box, it is yet another marketing buzzword. Seems like, it is either measuring their custom stepper drivers current and applying some algorithm to identify a clog, tangle, but unfortunately fow dynamics need more precision. There is no dedicated eddy current sensor as they tout in their marketing fluff😂
It doesn't work, my A1 Mini stops feeding filament halfway during the printing session and doesn't even pick it up, it just continues moving in the air printing nothing...
Look up best a1 mini settings
This helped with my ender 3 but idk if it will work for bambu slicer but why not give it a shot
are you using cardboard filament reels? ;) Try printing a spool adapter, it will prevent hangups which seems to be an extremely common issue.
@@terryjones9784 if I could get it to finish a print I would....
Everyone has mentioned this lol
Yeah but currently it gives many errors. People are turning rhe feature off
Curious where you're hearing this reported? I haven't seen anything on Reddit, etc.
