In this episode of meme spirits Im going for a world first. Surely no one has ever used timtam liquor to make a Irish coffee for a timtam slam? If not they should! It may well be the most intensely delicious thing I have ever put in my mouth.
What's a Timtam? It's the world's greatest BISCUIT. What's a Tim tam slam? If you don't know you in for a treat!

I often include affiliate links in my videos and descriptions. This will not change the price for you at all, but the seller will give me a small kickback. Cool eh?
I gotta keep suggesting you ferment Coca-Cola to make a coke-rum, and then make a coke-rum-and-Coke!
Love the meme spirits, and the regular stuff.
It's called rum and coke, wtf are you adhd you can't add any more of one than the other 🤣 ok you can it's called a double, fuck some people
JUST MIX RUM WITH COKE, BUDDY. All this distilling work is for nothing. JUST MAKE A DAMN COCKTAIL RECIPE.
@@hxhdfjifzirstc894 And how is it a more interesting video to make a normal rum and coke, or am I missing the point of the meme spirit videos?
@@hxhdfjifzirstc894 If you wanted to be entirely functional you could just drink ethanol and water. No need to waste time with mixers, or flavor at all, it's all for nothing anyway
I think a big problem there is that coke has so many preservatives that will hinder the yeasts, and artificial ingredients that may cause the yeast to get a little unhealthy and output weird congeners.
I hear you can make a Cola flavoured drink at home with natural botanicals, and it’d probably be cheaper too, so you could definitely ferment that!! Based on some of the flavours in Cola, it’d probably make a good Gin!!
It's so heart warming to see Jessie looking like a big kid.
Yeah, I gotta agree Timtams are pretty awesome. One of the kids sent some back from Australia... Then we found them in one of our local shops. Pretty sweet, from 🇨🇦
Are they like penguins?
Jessie, I don't know if you get ( Werther's Original Caramel Hard Candies ), but I made a Caramel Liquor with them. The caramel comes out good with a little simple syrup. You might want to try adding that to yours to get more caramel taste.
If you don’t do a pineapple lump meme spirit I’ll be highly disappointed 🤣
Well Jesse, I’m going to bust the myth. A few friends, over 35 years ago, showed us that similar to Tim tams, a chocolate Teddy biscuit, nibbled like yours, into Port or any other alcohol 🥃 & eaten….IS AMAZING!!!! In fact, ANY chocolate covered biscuit will do. Give it a try!!!!
also good for a tim tam slam is just a glass of cold milk. the centre becomes a bit more firm, the chocolate hardens a little, but the biscuit part turns to mush. so good
I’m from the USA and although I was in Australia and not New Zealand, I could not agree more that Tim Tams are the greatest cookie/biscuit ever. Your cookies and stores made our cookie aisles look so sad when I came back. So much better in your part of the world. Cheers and thanks for another great video!
Everyone's talking about the timtams, the distilling, and everything else, but can we take a minute to appreciate just how slick Jessie was while showing off the wallets? Idk what it was but I just had to watch his hands like 3 times, it was so satisfying
Yeah the commercial interuptions are getting more professional than the video people come for... Real slick
Love the realistic oops that happens to all of us once and a while. That ending lesson was awesome! Clearly on my bucket list now haha
I mastered the no hand timtam slam since my cousin introduced me to this trick 20 years ago. I never eat tim tam any other way, cold milk is also nice as it wont break and completely disintegrate the timtam
As an Aussie, I wish I could like this this more than once! Amazing idea, and the slam, just perfect👌Antipodean Coffee, perhaps?
I wonder if you could ferment using the cookies somehow? I guess the chocolate would be a problem, though..
I was thinking of making a mead. But add them in secondary instead of primary.
@@dominic_a fun idea! I have a hard time imagining how the honey flavour would interact. Try it :)
@Trizza84 as an Aussie, check out Moon Dog Brewery - they do a Timothy Tamothy Slam beer.
@@sgreatwood I wish! I'm not living in Australia any more :( have to keep an eye out next time I'm home.
That is such a cool sounding name. Antipodean is such an underused word
Interesting, I distilled an Agave beer, aka tequila and added butter to calm the foam and it brought forth a slight buttery taste. I am amazed that flavors carry forward when you are distilling. You have given me some ideas. Thanks!
Whattttt!!! TRIPLE CHOCOLATE! 😳 Ohh dear sweet lord the double coat is already amazing! I had no idea those existed! Although for distilling I'd've gone with the Murry River ones, but then I am a rum lover 😊😅
I made a coconut stout using a tincture in vodka. It works great. Just use flakes, not powder and let it infuse for 3 or more weeks. When it is ready, put it in the freezer to freeze the oils and quickly filter it.
Just came over from IWRocker channel, now I wanna come over from the "West island" in the vain hope of wrapping the ol' laughing gear around some of that yummy TimTam grog... ;))
I had a friend come to a gaming convention who was from Australia and he showed me a Tim Tam slam and it made me want to wake up everyday to one but alas I knew immediately what those were because of that as an American/yumm!!!
A Milo is the best for a Tim Tam slam, but you have to keep putting Milo in until the spoon stands up by itself 😍
My second comment on this video. You thoroughly enjoyed yourself with this one. From the beginning of sharing your ideas, to the middle where you distill, all the way to the end of your tasting and eating, you had fun! This is what happiness and the true fulfillment of joy from this hobby should bring to everyone! ❤️❤️ thank you
Wasn’t watching and heard the glass break, lost it laughing, heard you laughing, laughed more, came back, hit rewind, laughed again 😆 oooopsies, don’t ya hate it when that happens, well handled Jesse, well handled, love ya vids 👌🏻
What about a glass syringe or dropper? I got a bunch from Aliexpress and they do a really good job of not allowing me to punch my shine like I almost did once. Also easy to clean up - just chuck in the dishwasher.
I grew up eating tim tams in the states. I honestly didn't know they were a new zealand/Australian product until I watched this video.
The store right down the road from me started importing Tim Tams. Got to experience them for the first time last week. Didnt know about the slam, but they were still awesome. Will have to go grab some more.
Yea had a nice little chuckle along with you Jessie. Thanks
as a canadian i've only had tim tams a few times and i had some the other day and i was thinking in my head "these are better than oreos" i simply have to agree that these are the best commercially available cookie.
Should have chucked the rest of that tannic whisky in the airstill with whatever was left in it after the first run and done another run with a wider cut to get a more grungy whisky-like drink that takes the grunge from the original whisky as well as the grunge from the biscuits, really wonder what something like that would turn into
Headed to my local grocery store Jungle Jim's Cincinnati Ohio to find TimTam. Should be called YumYums! They had 6 or 7 versions. I got the mint and original.
We get Tim Tam's in South Africa too and there is as you said only one way to eat the and that is the slam way 😂 in fact it's how my daughter ended up liking coffee. It is THE BEST "BISCUIT" ! Fun vid to watch hehehe even with the fumble. Good on ya!
TimTams with the corners bitten off make the BEST coffee straws
So as I watch this I'm sitting here drinking a large hot chocolate with a healthy shot of my own "hazelnut cappuccino" liqueur. Not quite the same flavor profile but I'm enjoying it as much as Jesse is with his Tim Tam drink.
Tim Tam Grand Slam
After seeing your video I happened to see a Tim Tam packet in an import shop I was going for something else.
We organised a tasting with my little family with hot milk and everyone had a blast! Will not be the last time we buy some!
great info and great laugh, just started watching your vids a few days ago.I am going to get into stilling now, I already brew Kefir Ginger Beer (non alcoholic) 5 years in . going next level. Awesome vids Jesse.
No filter.. great stuff. The look on your face, loved it !
Mate that was one of your bests, had a mate round & testing a new blend then this video come up, so good, just so good, you made my day.
Cheers: Swany from OZ.
As a lover of sweets, I don't care what you call it as long as it is good. Tim Tams look amazing. Thank you for sharing!
Bro, I’m so glad you didn’t start crying tears of joy at the end, though we would all understand if you did. A buddy gave me a package a few years back as an attempt to give me a new nickname. I wish I had them now to try your experiment.
T
Ok.... Hard to beat Oreos dunked in ice cold milk, but if you are going to dethrone the king, you'd better not miss. Chocolate, caramel and hot coffee..... amazing. Thank you for off topic goodness.
Dude just found out we have Tim Tams here right down the street from me in North Carolina and one that sounds awesome Dark Chocolate Mint. I've never heard of these until now but you can believe I'm gonna try them Jessie.
So glad to see I'm not the only one to do dumb stuff, so glad you didn't edit out your mishap and you continued on to have a fun time. Enjoy your videos.
the joy in the giggle... gold
Never had a tim tam but in the uk we do this with the penguin biscuit xx
I didn't want to, but I spent $11 on a pack of cookies, successfully performaed the TimTam slam, and now my life is forever changed
as an American i'm glad to say that i've had the opportunity to do a tim tam slam. thank you!
When I was staying with family friends in Australia for a couple months when I was younger and have loved them since, it’s a shame they aren’t common in the USA
Jesse, gotta tell ya, bought your Into The AM Collab Shirt and I wore it out this week for the first time and I got five or six people commenting on it, all positively mind you, so I'd have to say it's already paid for itself and more!
And to sort of add to this, you mention in the vid that tim tams are just one of your favorite biscuits; I'd push ya to try Oreos in a similar setup as this. Oreos are definitely my favorite store-bought biscuit and I'd love to see how they fair against tim tams
You're awesome... thank you! fantastic vid I will be trying a Tim Tams.. hmmm guess I have to take a trip!
After watching this episode (from USA) I ordered a box of Tim Tams from Amazon… I have to concur, they are really good. Haven’t tried the Tim Tam slam but it’s on my short list 😜… keep up the good work Jessie… 👍
Found you through Whiskey Tribe. Your Good content, and personality was all I needed to see to convince me to subscribe, Cheers.
I used to drink milk throught twizzlers the same way when i was a kid. It made kind of a strawberry milk.
The reason that syringe stuck? remember plastic etc vs alcohol. After using a syringe like that, rinse thoroughly on water to stop the residual alcohol breaking down the gasket/ washer while waiting for its next use.
Lots of fun biscuit and chocolate malt's. Corsair Distillery here in the states uses some chocolate malt in some ryes. Delicious but subtle.
glad we agree on what the best cookie is
They're called a chocy biscuit.
Yeah it's an Aussie thing, but that's who makes them so we get naming rights for the best biscuit ever lol.
Hell yeah the joy he gets from the slam is hilarious
I love the fact that when Jessie laughs he sounds like Yoda .
I love watching your channel on all the different things you teach/show. Yes tim tams are the best ever...
Thanks so much for leaving the little mishap in there. That's the first time I've smiled in two or three days!
I put 3 Coronas in my distiller and made them into some STRONG corona liquor, which I added to my corona and lime afterwards
America here. Had to Amazon me some Tim Tams. That's a good ass cookie!
Hold up one second sir I'm intrigued because them Tim tams look just like a penguin with a funky center
Love it Jesse I use the shit out of my air still lol.. not just for meme spirits either… you rock!
I would have just gobbled down those biscuits before they got anywhere near a Still! So massive respect for not doing that.
Plus what did the inside of the Still look like after the Run? Was is as bad as my toilet after an huge runny deposit 😂
I know how good that tim tam slam i do the exact same thing I do with Cadburys fingers thin round biscuits with a chocolate outside it's amazing 👏
I have now ordered TimTams from Amazon... Thank you!
I just started the video and I will cry if you don’t do a TimTam slam with the final product I will scream.
9:17 the unplanned version of the Timtam slam happens
Gold! Don’t change Jesse. Like ever.
Cacau nibs should work really well. I used them for a toasted coconut and cacau rum recently. Tasted great.
😂🤣😂🤣 I love that you kept the F-up , I had a great laugh
TimTams are the best, one of the things I miss the most from NZ :)
You should call That one the Tim Tam Whiskey slam. I think it would also be your special move if you ever went into wrestling.
Dude, you got ON this episode. And I loved every second of it. Well done, sir.
I've just gotta say, there are over 15 types of Tim-Tam.
15:13 Every time I brew, some sh*t goes wrong.
I still cant turn my cooker knobs after a sugar boil over.
I can get Tim Tams at every grocery store in my region in Canada, so they're not exactly rare, at least anymore. Not a bad thing! But no sweet tooth and limiting coffee intake means I've never done the Slam. Just eating one cookie leaves me spent.
You can use any hot liquid when you do a ' TimTam Straw'
Coffee and Hot Chocolate are main 2 but get inventive.
Get a room with those damn Tim tams. Love it brother
Cocoa Pebbles sound like they would be amazing
Omg Timtams! Yes!
Haha thank you for giving me so much gin ideas
tho I am sure my local whisky bar will be disappointed in me after they found out that my next batch are going to made from sweets
Have you ever fermented a cookie or biscuit? My wife and I run a candy store and we frequently have left over candy. We've made wine with leftover christmas hard candies. We frequently have a lot of packaged cookies left over. We want to try making something with that as well. I've heard of a beverage made with fermenting bread in water but never seen anyone actually do it. Would you make like a beer out of it? What about chocolates like caramels and buttercreams?
now you need to do milks favorite cookie
Timtams really are the greatest cookie/biscuit in the world! I'm not into whiskey but I bet this would be beyond belief.
Stop stealing our Aussie biscuits, geez our brothers across the Tasman 🤣
Gonna try this one for sure....
come on who hasn't made that great traditional "Shrewsbury and Apple Vodka", keep up the good work on our little island
i distilled my own verson of your m&m whiskey in the Vevor 4l still and it spits out the simple syrup oils from the candy when the tails come out at the end of the run but the heads and hearts come out of it fine and around 120 apv before proofing it down to the desired effect
That final slam has to be called a timtam slammer
One of your best Jesse...'That's what she said' 😜😋🤣
As soon as I saw "worlds greatest cookie" I knew it was gonna be Tim Tams. So good.
Loved the blooper.
So... as to your question about Macerating and then distilling Coco Nibs... Yes... yes you can :)
Tim Tam deluxe??! Jesus I need them!
Still it i have a idea for another meme spirit: bread vodka (bread has yeast so it should ferment [maybe] , bread is made from wheat so outcome could be some kind of vodka or something like that)
Wheat vodka is good.
Mint Tim tams are my favorite
Once sent my girlfriend (she's now my wife) a 2kg gift box full of Tim Tams from here in Aus to here in the U.S. Best present ever 😂 Peak Aussie food
Not sure what kind of juice you’ve got in New Zealand but I think you should try juice combinations, strawberry kiwi, fruit punch, or even Gatorade
Great vid, we enjoyed watching you have such great time!! 😀💜❤️
Jesse! You're late to the party, man! You should try this method with Snickers! I love what you do!
I wonder if all the makings of a good margarita would make a good run, and kinda also how a cheap marg would end up
Tim tams are amazing (UK person who occasionally gets access to them)
9:15 LMAO 🤣
Tim Tam's are the GOAT!
