In my personal opinion, perhaps it does the snap, crackle and pop a little too much, and the sound of the exhaust when accelerating is a bit lost under the other sounds from the engine and intake. But aside from that, it looks like it really delivers on performance - would be great to see it on an autobahn run. I like this new exterior color too. Thanks for posting this video. A happy A250 AMG owner.
If you upshift yourself it does the bangs

GY „could be“ lol, that‘s the biggest issue, if we‘re talking about reason, price comes on top priority in proportion to what you get. This whip is so overpriced.
I have this car exacly 1.5 year now. In 3rd gear sport+ mode feels amazing.
Sound aussen ungewöhnlich schlecht für AMG, macht der Otto echt alles kaputt oder hat sich die Soundabteilung nur 5 Minuten damit beschäftigt...

Neue Grenzwerte, insbesondere im Stand! Sobald er in Bewegung ist macht das schon Laune...guter Klang muss nicht zwangsläufig laut sein, hat schon der E53 gezeigt.

Denk dran, das ist kein a45. Und wenn ich das mit einem Golf r Vergleich oder einem bmw der gleichen Klasse, dann kann sich das schon sehen lassen
The difference between today's Aclass and the one in 1999 is very vast. The '99 was right next to the word boring but this one is just a freaking different animal.
At least it sounds like a 4cyl onboard whereas the Golf R makes a really weird noise through its speakers.

ich habe mir schon mal einen konfiguriert, ich war bei 62t € (und nicht volle Hütte), da finde ich den M140i von der Preis-Leistung schon besser .. obwohl die neue A-Klasse richtig geil aussieht
Man kann den hier mit dem 140i nicht vergleichenn. Der bmw ist deutlich besser
Sieh zu, dass du einen M140i nimmst. Letztes Auto in der Klasse mit Hinterradantrieb und 6 Zylinder. Wenn du den gut pflegst, ist das eine Wertanlage, denn die Dinger werden als gebrauchte zukünftig wahrscheinlich mächtig im Preis steigen.
Ich frag mich warum Ich ein Auto (Kleinwagen/Golfklasse) für 62.000€ kaufen sollte das dann noch nicht mal voll ausgestattet ist. Sorry aber diese Aufpreispolitik bei den deutschen Marken geht ja mal gar nicht.

Nein! Das menschliche Auge fokussiert natürlich die Oberfläche des Displays, die Kameras leider immer den Hintergrund der sich spiegelt;)

Das Teil kostet einfach über 70k.. Preis Leistung steht in keiner Relation.

Woher kommen die LEute auf 70k?! Das Teil geht bei 47k los, genauso wie der neue S3. Mit sinnvoller Ausstattung ist man bei 55-58k.

Sound ist ne absolute Katastrophe, hat mehr was von einem Staubsauger als von einem sportlichen kompakten.. sehr schade. Der OPF killt wohl alles in Zukunft.
The Golf R have a great sound that this a35.But 0to100km in 4.7sec it's crazy with 300hp

Hi, I follow your channel with interest and appreciate so much your vids. Just curious on what fuel octane do you use in your test cars? What is requested in to run this A35 ? In my S3 300hp running 38/40.000 km/ year is not everytime possible to put something with more octane than 95 . I think those fuel requirements are so annoying. What is your opinion? Kind regards
For our acceleration tests & performance usage we try to fill in 100 or 98 Octane but if we just drive 500 km at low/medium power a tank-fill of 95 Octane will just do it as fine, so don‘t worry. Drove my S3 40.000 per year back then and app. 30% on 95 Octane.
@@Automann-TV thank you :) on my S3 I feel little to none difference between 95 and 98 (swiss fuel) maybe some slight 0.2/0.3 kml difference in consumption, maybe.
Nice car, oil temps seem to climb really really fast, I am sure that it will have oil temp problems at track... it won't be strange to see 130+ degrees.

I had the use of one of these for a day, only a couple of hundred miles on the clock. Nice looking car, quick and handled brilliantly but after a few miles I decided it really didn't have much character at all. Didn't really sound as good as I was expecting. You get a bit of drama if you floor it but apart from that, rather dull.

@@grafzahl9745 kommt drauf an. Ich habe nen 1.8tsi im Ibiza Cupra und habe die originale AGA bearbeiten lassen von ASG in Gummersbach. Was die daraus gezaubert haben ist definitiv kein Luftpumpen Golf billig gti Klang... :D

Klare Tendenz - die etwas älteren Semester kennen noch den Sound von nem modernen V8. Da ist das einfach nur ein defekter Staubsauger. Die 13 jährigen Kids feiern den Blödsinn.
@@s8RRRR yepp, ganz klar, wohl ne Möhre für die CZcams-Generation und Influencers........ hab mir vor rund 5 Jahren nen V8 Sauger geholt, einmal V8 immer V8.....geändert hat sich nichts, ausser dass mein aktueller nun noch zwei “Schnecken“ angeflanscht hat die ordentlich Druck machen....😂💪

Fantastic car I must say but one rather important issue is the sun reflection on the massive screen at 1:40.
Was this just the camera angle or is there a genuine issue of day time driving and sun reflection?
No, reflection is this way just with cameras as it focuses the objects which are been reflected and not the surface of the screen (like human eye).
FYI a polarising filter would fix this issue on your camera

Those gear changes sound very clunky ( 2:00 ) and horrible. I was thinking of purchasing one of these but the screaming engine ( 1:23 ) noise drowns out the exhaust, not doing nothing for me. Looks like the M2 purchase is gonna happen after seeing videos of this car.

no matter how much they refine the A class, it cannot beat the superiority of the rear wheel 1 series.

I know dude the M140i is in the class but dont compare with this car...(my car got 380hp ,540Nm Stock).They kill and eat this car easily after 100 km/h..... :D.

The instrument cluster could work as disco lights. Really, isn't it disturbing? I prefer the old school gauges as in Golf r pre facelift or BMW m135i.

I prefer the old A45
Ich kann den 35 AMG allein mit meinem Civic Type R FK8 aus 2017 vergleichen und da gewinnt mein Type R in allen Lebenslagen, vor allem bei Qualität, Preis-/Leistung und Sportlichkeit. Vorl allem: Stattet man den A35 AMG mit den Extras aus dem Civic Type R GT aus, bist du bei knapp 60.000€. -Und hast immer noch das kleinere Auto, weniger PS, die schlechteren Sitze und weniger Fahrspaß.
Es fällt mir schwer aus objektiver Sicht gewichtige Kaufargumente für den A35 AMG zu finden. Bleibt nur Allrad, Automatik und vielleicht noch der Komfort oder die vorgegaukelte Sportlichkeit.
