IIRC the skit was before the allegations began. The actual song black or white released in late 1991, this parody came out in early 92 & the first allegations were in 93.
Gotta remember before the allegations, most people thought he was just weird as hell outside of music. I believe that's what they were poking fun at in this skit.
Also it wasn't like he was the only guy at that time that had been a rich shut in. Like Hugh Hefner was around in his mansion. Don't think he was alive but in the same state Howard Hughes had already built Xanadu with his fricken zoo and stuff. It might have been a landmark by then. Don't remember.

Anything from their FIRST SEASON is a MUST-SEE!! Jennifer Lopez got her start as a member of the FLY GIRLS dance team that appeared on this show. They were always fighting with the network and network censors because they were always pushing the envelope. Before this show did a LIVE SB halftime show, there WAS NO SB Halftime Show. How they got away with some of their material . . .
In Living Color had brutal parodies. Among the best, Vanilla Ice, Snow Informer and there was one about Paula Abdul that was hilarious. The guys of In Living Color showed no mercy!

It's a mix of 4 or 5 videos. It was epic. I lost it when I watched it then, the night it aired. Haven't seen it since, great to see it again. Actually forgot parts of it.

When I was elementary school age, a classmate was one of the kids who was an actor in the movie "Ben," and I loved that song. Bought the 45 rpm single and still have it all these decades later. Glad to hear it's one of your favorites too, Britt.
My Favorite "Slow Song" by Michael was "She's out of my life"... But "Ben" is a close Second.
Even though I always thought MJ took way more heat for having vitiligo and lupus than he deserved , leading to his bone structure changing and the skin bleaching so he wouldn’t look so blotchy, I have no problem with these jokes, if they’re clever. If they’re just mean, forget it. But stuff like this that makes light of what was in the news in the early 90s is fine and Tommy Davidson does a great impression. The early 90s were great for SNL, but ILC was better. Everyone raves about Jim Carrey because of how big he got, but the rest of the cast were even better IMHO. Men On was my favourite sketch followed by the Homeboy Shopping Channel.
Tommy Davidson is who’s playing MJ, and i think this was before MJ had kids, the actual song came out in 91, he didnt have kids till like 97
I was a teenager when this sketch came out and I had forgotten how brutal In Living Color could be. Back then people weren't hypersensitive and could take politically incorrect jokes about things like race.
IN answer to your question, Michael Jackson pretty much confessed to being a virgin when this came out back in 1991.
Tommy Davidson and the Wayans were savage with this. Another really good one was Andrea Dice Clay. That was hilarious.

Living Color had the Wayans, Jim Carey, and J-Lo (IIRC). It's been off the air for 2 decades. So, the parody was long (maybe 15 years) before the actual trials.

Comedy is comedy. Too many snowflakes ruining comedy nowadays. In Living color was one of the best shows ever. So many amazing talents were on it & blew up from it. I wish comedy still had some cajónes but too many idiots get offended far too easily. Don't get me wrong, you got some good ones but the fear put into comedians when just trying to be funny is ridiculous. When whose line is it anyway would get cancelled, something is seriously wrong with society... In any case. LOVED this skit, Love in living color & a pipe dream would be to bring the cast back together for another show like this. This show regularly made me fall over from laughter. :)

There was no daughter line, Britt. None of Michael's children were even born yet, as this was '92 and his first kid was born in '97.
