As a military brat in the 90's I remember the heat getting to me, so dad took me to the truck to cool off. After feeling better we stood in the truck bed and watched the show. I don't know if it was the pilot who saw my dad in uniform with this kid alone in the parking lot or part of their flight path, but he buzzed us so low it caused the whole truck to shake. Best day ever, thanks dad.
My sincerest thanks for your service and have full faith that our greatest pilots in all squadrons are ready to answer their call to duty when that time comes.
I grew up less than a mile away from a Navy base in Tennessee where they put on an air show every September, and I remember standing in our driveway and watching the Blue Angels fly in the air show, and during practice the week before. I always loved seeing the Angels, and felt so lucky to have such a great view from our house. Great video. Thanks for bringing back such fun memories! 👍💙✈
I’ve had the pleasure of watching the blue Angels a half a dozen times and every time gives me chills they are unbelievable God bless everyone of them I actually have a poster sign by every blue Angel next to the jet that they fly I’ll have it forever
Exceptionally presented, Ground Crew, Airmen, Aircraft and clearly all elite operators in their chosen field. That tight diamond on rotation, impressive! Great camera work too, thanks for posting.
Was there on Sunday the weekend before and it was good to see them again. What’s also cool is #4 has a two seater cockpit. Whoever is in the 2nd seat in #4 definitely enjoyed that ride. Thumbs up to you and the rest of the blue angels and god bless America. 👍🇺🇸
This Performance Literally Brought Tears To My Eye's! I Haven't Seen The Blue Angels Since The Late 1990's During Fleet Week In San Francisco. I Brought My Son To His First Blue Angels Air Show At Moffett Field In Mountain View, California Back In 1983. My 3 Year Old Granddaughter Attended Her First Air Show This Summer Of 2022. Everytime I See These Gentlemen Fly, It Just Reminds Me Of How Great This Country Is And How It's Being Destroyed Before Our Very Eye's From Within Our Own Border's! I Truly Appreciate The Sacrifice Of Our Men and Women In Uniform. They're Our True Hero's And Their Sacrifice Is Much Appreciated From Myself And Those Who Still Love This Country! God Bless America And All Of Our Men And Women In Uniform! Thank You For Your Sacrifice And Love For Our Great Nation! 🙏✌️🇺🇲✌️🙏
It take a LOT of skill and training to fly like that. Those guys are excellent pilots, and their crews are equally excellent to maintain those aircraft in excellent condition. I salute all of you!
I've always been wanting to see the Blue Angels live but I'm unable too so I have to thank you for your posts. You bring smiles to many of us. TY again Spencer. 😊🤗💕🐈⬛
Thank you soo much!! You bring the video to me as is if I was there. truly great work, since i doubt i will be at one again(just old and far away) honestly you bring me to tears as i watch! Thank you Sir!
I missed it. I had a conversation with a guy at a supermarket about the Blue Angel's. I went to 3 air shows and the Thunderbirds were there. I never seen an Angel in person. This show happened two weeks after I saw the guy and he told me they will be at Miramar. I couldn't make it, I hope one day I can see them. Thank you for posting the video. It's the next best thing to being there.
The Blues certainly did put on an awesome show - and where the hottest aircraft in the air space that day. These newer F/A 18 Super Hornets demonstrated unmatched impressive power, speed and maneuverability all afternoon long... up until that 2 ship F-22 Raptor team showed up.., after the Blues where chocked. The crowd was heading for the exits, but traffic came to a complete stop to watch these Raptors perform. Good to have MCAS Miramar Air Shows back!!!
Awsum video!!! Saw their show in Oceana in Sept. New jets are thrilling. Love the speed, the sound and precision! Hoping to get to airshow in OK next year. Great job!! 👍
Very awesome! Wasn't able to go this year. However caught a number of passes over my house by the diamond or solos on Saturday. Also was headed down I-15 on Sunday as the diamond completed the initial loop and flew out over the freeway. The guys in the Super Hornets were a lot safer than many of us on the freeway as some alleged motorists started looking up and not on the road.
Had the honor of attending their show and "crews only" dinner at Tucson Air show back in the day...'76 I guess it was, maybe late '75. I crewed an SH-2F LAMPS helo out of Imperial Beach on a static display during the airshow. Great experience I'll cherish forever! I think some if not all were later killed in a practice mishap months later. I cannot express the honor I feel for having met them, and having flown with the greatest pilots that ever served this great nation!
Absolutely awesome Video Spencer! Was so looking forward to watching this. Noticed at the end in the backseat of 5 "Chewys" plane looked like Amanda Lee. Looking forward to seeing you and the rest of the blues crew aka the dirty 30 for winter training. I'll bring more Captian crunch lol.. awesome video Spencer, thanks for sharing.
I have a bias to the USAF Thunderbirds, because I personally know one of the pilots, but in all honesty I love watching the Blue Angels just as much! I really enjoy when the 2 groups fly together.
This popped up in my feed it's awesome quality thanks for sharing this. I'm a big aircraft & airshow fan here in uk I don't think I've seen these at a show in the uk I believe it was the other team years ago the thunderbirds. I love how they do all there build up b4 going into display like to see our red arrows do it like that I mean the introduction. They obviously still do some of the other stuff but these guys with just 6 aircraft do great display. Thanks again.👍
Great video! Love seeing the blue angels. You can’t hear it cuz the engines are so loud but they played the intro to top gun when they were getting in line I thought it was so cool.
I'm 39 years old I've been going to airshow longer than I can remember I seen Blue Angels snowbirds and the Thunderbirds I'm a fan of the Blue Angels but the Thunderbirds I just love their paint scheme with a bird under the bottom of the jet and all in all I love them all even though I'm not flying it's still adrenaline rush to watch them fly ✈ 👏🏿👏🏿
Stupendous! Great video. Almost as good as being there. I grew up in San Diego, currently living in TN, and I was wonderning if they still did the air show at Miramar, and this showed up in my recommendations today! I miss being able to go! It was Fighter Town in those days!
Parabéns para vcs piloto 👏 muito lindo o trabalho de vcs era meu sonho mais não pude realizar que Deus continue abençoando vcs com muita luz na vida cada um de vcs 👏 bjs 😘❤❤❤❤❤❤
Dude I was at the air show it was amazing I was wearing a camp cap and I have been watching airshows for a while. I loved seeing the F-22 and the P-51 mustang fly together it was a pretty rare site. I got to fly in the USAA simulator and I started laughing my ass off when I walked inside. 😂
The last time I saw the Angles they were flying the legacy F-18C/D models. They were in pretty rough shape. When you got up close, you can really see the age and wear they accumulated. Nice to see them getting new birds.
I've always enjoyed your post and I want to thank you for sharing the experience with us. You are awesome and can't wait for your next video. Trublueboy9
Spencer you haven't videoed the BA as much as Mike. But you definitely know how to shoot their airshow. Thanks for bringing this to everyone. Excellent as always.

Erre nincsenek szavak. Lenyűgöző, magával ragadó, csodálatos. Együttműködés, alázat, tisztelet egymással szemben. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I’d always wanted to see the Blue Angels. This was my first show and I was not disappointed.
they killed it up there

i used to work across the highway from Miramar air station and got to watch them practicing for a week and they were truly fantastic to witness.
The big loops show just how powerful these planes are. The power, skill, and discipline it takes, is just awesome!
From high alpha to climb out, shows the power. mind you, they are empty and slick. But still, like you said . Awesome.
I was stationed there at fightertown. VF-21. 69-70.
Goosebumps are normal. 👍
Love it! So awesome! Truly a sight to behold.
Once I start watching it's hard to stop these guys are brilliant!

Impressive precision. Loved the 6ship roll and the wheels down acrobatics.
After playing DCS, only to realize how hard the stuff these guys are doing. Max respect
Any pilot will tell you sims are harder because you can't rely on your inner ear for feedback. The only advantage for sims is the safety element.
Dcs is harder then real life actually lol
But yeah respect to those guys because it DEFINITELY is not easy at all

You did an incredible job filming this. Thank you.
Fridays are always the best day to go there. Great grab on the highest grandstand seat. That back row sold out fast. Great video as usual.
They even had the U-2 spy plane in the air show which is nice. Don’t see those around that much.

The Super Hornets the Blues have are the first Supers put into service 24 years ago.
