Rose Knob Peak | Epic Tahoe views!

The hike recap portion of the end had bad data so it didn't inclide the last bit of the hike. The AllTrails link above has the correct data. The distance is more like 5.6 miles with 1490' of climbing.
Parking at the trailhead can fill up early, especially on a nice weekend, I went on a Friday late in the season and had no issues.
Be sure you have a map as the turns for the trail are easy to miss off of the fire road and just past the little bridge. Just past the turn from the bridge the trail goes up sharply and doesn't stop until you get to the ridge. Then it's flat-ish for a bit before the last push to the summit. Amazing views of Lake Tahoe await you at the top!

This was the first time I had done it. It’s a bit of work to get up there, but the views are a great payoff.

Sadly, the video at the end which shows the whole hike didn’t show the last mile or so. The actual distance is a bit more than it shows.
