- Ridgecrest, CA is a great little stop right off of Highway 395 between Los Angeles / San Diego and Mammoth. The climbs generally keep you interested with some rocky tech peppered in and then plenty of flow on the way day with Quick Shot, Smooth Criminal, and Flow #1. If you want some gnarly steep rocky tech on the downhill, check out the Peaches double-black trail, don't miss the rock features. Also looks like a few trails not on Trailforks so do some exploring. Great wintertime ride as the summers get VERY hot, and keep an eye out for Gila Monsters in the big holes scattered around the trails!

Yes I’ll follow u on Strava 🙏🏼
Here's my Strava from that ride! www.strava.com/activities/10385759699
Let me know if you need a tour guide. 🍻
Would u happen to have Strava ?
Yes I do, I should probably start adding them to the video description. Did you want to see my Strava for this ride?
Yes if u would like to share it that would be cool
The jumps being added on Smooth Criminal were not being built good, they were liped and would send you into a crash. We all like jumps, just not bad ones that literally make people crash...
That's totally fair, especially if riders aren't used to a jump being there on a trail that they know really well. Seems like it'd be hard to maintain good jumps with that kind of soil as well.
The spot with the sign was a good jump. Till someone kept making a lip on it. 😢
That's frustrating. At least the drop on that trail has the ride around. Optional features are generally the best of both worlds.
By the way, great video 👌
Thanks I really appreciate it! Hoping to get back soon and ride the rock feature on Peaches and explore some of the other trails out there.
