Hi! This is Jaimie (you bought the bee towel from my Zazzle shop) thank you for showing it! That white line down the side is upsetting!! Just a warning for other Zazzle people out there... you need to upload the design and stretch it PAST the red line. There is a blue 'safe' line and a larger red 'bleed' area. That towels design fit perfectly inside the red area. So I had to go in and stretch it past that area. OMG I also suggest adding a color-matched 'background' color to everything! If the design doesn't print centered, then you won't have a white part. 😟 I think the youtuber who aligns with you and your content the best... might be Zen Watercooler?? I dunno, this is a tough one. Great video Mey.

I applied to sell on tiktok shops. They required...get this...my irs taxes, social security number, drivers license, bank statements and utility bills. I blurred out personal amounts. They wouldn't accept it. So far, even after uploading the paperwork without blurring, they still want my entire it's taxes. In my opinion, that is obscene. So, that's a no for me, especially after finding out from you that I don't get paid for 14 days. So, thank you sooo much!
No social media platform is 'safe'... but TikTok is especially frightening. In my mind, they are lumped in with sites like Temu, Alibaba, Shein. Totally lawless and really unaccountable to western standards of privacy and safety.
I applied for TikTok shop and absolutely did NOT have to submit my taxes. I doubt you did either . You DO have to submit either your SSN or Business Tax ID number . That is a US GOVT REQUIREMENT to ensure you are eligible to do business and be paid. W-9 stuff and all. I didn’t have to submit any utility bills either.
Just a driver's license and utility bill will do, plus your SS#. Less is more. I kept getting rejected because there were three spaces to upload, something wasn't jiving. I uploaded rent, electric, and phone. Then I just uploaded the electric and boom, I was in. Don't write it off, but take it slow.
Tiktok has helped me with so many things...Artwork, cooking, making friends, my faith, my disability, and learning other things. I don't want a ban but there has to be a way to protect kids more.

On a completely random and separate side note, at the end of your video when you say "Byeeee" my head still fills in the piano music you used to add at the end of your videos, and it makes me laugh every time because I know it's not there anymore but somehow I'm waiting for it anyway haha 😆

With that said I am so very new to this part of art and really appreciate your videos. I am still in the learning stages for sure. I am just now trying to figure out patterns and how to make them. Also, AI - I can't draw stick figures so typing in exactly what I want and getting it close (I still need to do some touch ups) is amazing. It is not much different than paying an individual to draw your idea. I love being able to add or delete stuff and having control of placement once the concept is done. They say anyone can draw... they haven't met me. lol If I didn't have a full time job I could spend hours learning new ways and things to create. So, again thank you so much for all your videos and the work that comes into posting them for us!!!

LOL Stores that include copyrighted material (marvel characters on outfits, or selling fabrics that have trademarked characters come to mind). I figure that if someone decides to offer for sale these registered trademarked items, THEN they be required to divulge permission to do so. I contacted them to use get permission to use images of their characters to add to my puzzles! The focus of the puzzle was NOT the character, rather it was the puzzle itself. They said, 'No'. I recently started my Christmas shopping & went to Etsy to find some original handmade gifts. lol. It gave me a headache and I gave up. I ended up finding an Australian website that does sell handmade stuff which is great for me here in Aus, but the shipping was pretty high for me so shipping overseas would be higher.
