      @@smartcap_official I have a 2017 Tacoma that I would gladly let you put one on. We could see how it holds up in the PNW hunting and over landing.

    Do you ship them to dealers in the USA?

    • @smartcap_official
      @smartcap_official  Před 3 lety +2

      Our Bed Replacement Systems are application-specific. It is our intention to begin shipping these to North America at the end of the year, likely starting with Tacoma and Gladiator applications. For a full listing of the applications we will be building for, please see our North American website.

      Hi Jonathon-
      We make 3 SmartCaps for your rig:
      1. EVO Sport (EV1300-MB) - which is currently in stock and available to purchase directly from our website and can be delivered to your home or a local dealer in as little as 24 hours.
      2. EVOa Adventure (EA1300-MB) - currently not in stock, but you can place a backorder with one of our dealers (www.na.rsismartcap.com/backorder) and hold a place in line for when they do become available.
      3. EVOc Commercial (EC1300-WH) - also currently on backorder.
      As for our Bed Replacement Systems, we are still in the development phase, but should have more information on when they will begin to be released in North America very soon.
      Hope that answers you questions, but if not, please let us know.

      @smartcap_official  Před rokem

      Sorry for the delayed response.
      We don't yet have a release date for the Bed Replacement Systems, but they are certainly coming, and will definitely be available in Canada. If you haven't already done so, we would suggest signing up for our email list - The Tribe (www.na.rsismartcap.com/join-the-tribe). Any new product release or update info will be sent to that list first.

    Are you guys going to make one for the raptors? First gen and up

    • @smartcap_official
      @smartcap_official  Před 3 lety

      Our current development plan has applications for the 2015-2020, and the 2021 F150. It is possible at some point that we would add the older body style in, but we are starting with the 2 latest body styles. You may want to sign up for our email list - The Tribe (www.na.rsismartcap.com/join-the-tribe). Any product releases, additions or updates will be communicated to that list first.
      Thanks for your inquiry, and for your interest in SmartCap!

    Do you export to Thailand? Camping and 4x4 is growing very fast here but still can only find ABS canopy here ...

    • @smartcap_official
      @smartcap_official  Před 3 lety

      At this time we do not and to be honest, I am not sure we will go that far back. We will start with Gen 3 and if we follow suit as we did for the EVOa, we will expand into Gen 2. I would encourage you to join our email list as that is the first place we communicate product availability information.

      Robert-
      Thanks for your question. This is a complete replacement of your truck bed, and we expect to be releasing them in North America either late this year or early in 2023. Details to come via our website and email list. If you aren't already signed up (www.na.rsismartcap.com/join-the-tribe), we would suggest doing so. Then you won't miss out when they are released.

      Or does RSI do the build?

    • @smartcap_official
      @smartcap_official  Před 2 lety

      We're still sorting out all the details, but we'll definitely include them when we announce.

    Every one of these marketing videos shows the Maxtrax mounted on the interior side of the door. Why would someone put filthy, mud-caked Maxtrax back inside the storage area? Ever? This is a cool product, but please, please put the Maxtrax outside. Nobody would do this.

      I was not on the shoot, but my guess, is that we purposefully bogged it to include in the vid.

    What's the cost of that rig?

    • @smartcap_official
      @smartcap_official  Před 3 lety +1

      All prices are posted on our website, however for the Tacoma (or any other Mid-size truck we build for) it would be $6,495 for the Flat Bed, $5,495 for the optional SmartCap XL, and/or $1,195 for the optional Drop Sides.

      @smartcap_official  Před rokem

      Our Bed Replacement System products are not currently available in North America. We're working towards a launch later this year, but don't have a definitive date just yet. As for pricing, you can find all the applications and different options on our website (www.na.rsismartcap.com/products/bedreplacement).
      Thanks for your inquiry. We are looking forward to the launch and can't wait to see these products hit the North American market!!

    😂 way too much

    • @smartcap_official
      @smartcap_official  Před rokem

      We can understand how you may have some initial apprehension regarding price. While at first glance you may think we are quite a bit more expensive, the moment you price out a fiberglass cap with a similar feature-set to the SmartCap, you’ll find the price difference is much smaller than it appears. Our standard features include: stainless steel 5-piece modular construction, capable of carrying up to 770 lbs static & 330 lbs dynamic, large Gullwing side doors with hidden hinges, keyed-alike locks and flush-mounted sliding vent windows, a Positive Pressure Air Vent, Cargo Light Portal Window, integrated Roof Rails, and the ability to remove it (in as little as 15 minutes) if you want. All of these things come standard with a SmartCap. We hope you’ll give us another look. We’re pretty sure you won’t be disappointed.

    • @automotivedefenz2195
      @automotivedefenz2195 Před rokem

      @@smartcap_official way too much cargo is what was meant. I could imagine this being extremely hot inside. Weight of the cap plus the utilities probably exceeds the vehicle's total gross haul. I was looking at the RSI sport but even that is heavy, and could imagine being too hot. I think if the company would have stuck with fiberglass or other type of composite while keeping the style and simplicity would have been better.

    • @smartcap_official
      @smartcap_official  Před rokem

      Understood. Many of our owners choose to beef up the suspensions on their rigs, to be able to handle their cargo needs. As for why we don't use fiberglass, the steel is capable of handling the demands we put it through and maintaining its shape. Our caps are also built from 5 modular pieces, and if one happens to get damaged (by a tree limb say), it can be replaced, where as you'd have to replace an entire fiberglass cap.
      Thanks again for your feedback.
