For those wondering, I don't have any plans to sell my X-E2. I adore that camera, and it has captured so many wonderful memories for me! Plus, it makes a good second camera for my Fiancé to use on Photo Walks together! Are you buying a new camera this year? Let me know!
love the X-E4 for photo and video. Had it since launch and recently shot a whole music video on it + a Ninja V. Really great portable setup that can be built on. Hoping the next iteration has ibis while maintaining the size.
Do you have the music video somewhere? Would love to see it! I would love IBIS, sadly I have heard rumor that they are discontinuing the X-E line to focus on the X100 & X-Pro. This will probably be the last of its generation.
Its so hard finding a good deal on the XE4. I still kept my XE2, even though I sold(Xpro3, 50R) all my Fuji gear moving to Nikon. It was my pocketable camera till I got a sweet deal on the X100V. I'll never sell my XE2!
I just sold the Fujifilm XT5 to buy an XE4. I'm more inspired by the rangefinder style camera, and the minimalist aesthetic. I also couldn't deal with the slow buffer on the XT5. I shoot commercially and for family stuff.
The xe4 is a beast have it know for 3 years en 6 drops and alot of times in the rain and that thing still gose strong as hell really a beast camera, i wil never sell the xe4 hahaha
I think you got it right. It’s not better than, but it’s good enough and so much fun. Nobody shoots always in the night or in super challenging AF conditions. So… buy bigger and more expensive camera just for that is not smart.
wow the colours in your photos look really good! do you use film simulation recipes or edit raw? Im cureently debating between x pro 3 and xe4 - I have a XT50 and will test both tomorrow but dont like the form factor and useless features of the XT line. other than IBIS maybe it's a bit overkill for me.
@@davevayn Thanks so much! I have created a few recipes of my own as well as some Lightroom Presets that help me achieve the look of my photos. It’s all still an experiment, I’m constantly tweaking and adjusting depending on my taste at the time. My latest video has a recipe that I created and shared if you’re interested! It is one I’ve used quite a bit over the past few months. The X-Pro3 and X-E4 are both GREAT cameras, you really can’t go wrong either way.
@@pauljakeman CZcams, Instagram, and Threads! But for sure I’ll be making another video soon! Just went out again today and captured more. Love this camera!
@@WestonWoodfin that’s awesome bro! Looking forward to seeing the CZcams video! I’m looking into going back into instagram at some point this year so will deffo follow you there when I do too!
Get yourself a XC15-45 OIS for hand held video, it is tiny, light and great optics. Also, the original Fuji XE4 grip is far superior, I know, I bought a copy first then found a real one second hand.
@@WestonWoodfin I’ve been loving it! I also have a Sony a7iv and just sold my Sony ZVe10 to buy this xe4. The Sony had more features and better autofocus…but I never carried it because I just didn’t enjoy it. I take my Fuji everywhere. Love it!

I'd love to see built in ND as well.

I don’t think I’ll even sell my X-E2 either. It has a special place in my heart.

That’s awesome! Didn’t know the X-T5 suffered from a slow buffer. Congrats on getting an X-E4 though, I love this camera!
i still couldn't get an X-E4 over here for a reasonable price, this is how crazy the second hand market is
It is unfortunate for sure. It is sad they stopped making such a great camera too. Hopefully you are able to find one soon!

Photography work solid!
Thank you 🙌 I appreciate that brother!
I am looking everywhere for one and can't find, apart ebay where people selling used one at double the RRT
Keep looking! It's rare...but very worth it if you can pick one up.

Congrats!
I just bought the xe4 and learning more about it
Glad i found this channel!
Glad to have you here!
Specs are great but it’s mainly the person behind the camera
Totally agree! 📸
what lens are you using to film this?
I mention it in the video, but it’s the 16mm f2! (24mm)🤘🏼
