I’m going to Poland on Friday to visit my family on my mums side alone for the first time because I just turned 16 and I would also fly from London Luton airport with my mum anywhere when I was younger! It’s literally the best airport !😁✨
I left for cyprus from this airport 3/4 years ago in 2019, this is the airport we took of from, im lucky i didnt need to ask for earlier access to the plane as im autistic since my step mum was with us and she has an issue with her legs, she also has a disabled badge, ive never left the uk ever since i arrived back from cyprus, but my step mum and my dad are planning to take me away to malta next year, other than that, the detail was nice in the airport, wizz air had a few issues in my opinion with possibly a dirty window, yet its a nice airline when it comes to service, id like to thank the wizz air crew, luton airport staff, and larnaca airport staff for taking amazing care of everyone, when we got to cyprus, we didnt even need to get a wheelchair for my step mum as we were greeted with one as we excited the plane. I am sad that i've got left the uk for 3/4 years, but i have many chances in my future of living in life. hope you had a great flight, safe journey to everyone who is going away today (including my step mum who we dropped off at 3 am, it took 1 hour to get to the airport, we parked up at the terminal, got my step mums stuff out and ready, she gave one last hug and kiss goodbye for dad, and she went into the airport, she is coming back next sunday) in total it took over 2 hours to get to stansted, take out my step mums stuff, and went for the motorways, it was creepy because we almost crashed as some prick merged in front of us, we are all okay and we have a week before we have to have another 2 hour trip to collect her.
That's a very nice ,beautiful place you visited from this very nice looking airport !! I'm jealous !! Poland has always been on my mind & in my bucket list to visit !! Overdue !! I am gonna visit there someday soon !!! 😍👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️🇬🇧🇵🇱 💕💞

Not sure what kind of issue that is you've got ,but I just googled for you & Wardown park ( some are saying like " always crowded", but it looks not crowded & tranquil ! There are ducks in a big pond,or lake ,a bridge ,etc.) ! As well as Wardown house & museum which people are saying not busy ! The parks might be good places for you ? As it's outdoor ! Avoid very popular parks like Hyde Park, etc.,though ! Richmond is nice & I believe they're not crowded ,a very rich neighborhood in England !! There's a lake & ducks there ,too !! I googled as quiet not crowded places to visit near Luton airport . You should Google it ,too yourself ! Google map is awesome !! Not sure how Richmond is close to Luton,though ! Yes,3 hrs !! At least 2 hrs 45 minutes beforehand as a gate usually opens 45 minutes before a departure time ! And any plane fills up like 95% can leave anytime ,so planes sometimes leave EARLIER than the scheduled time & if they do ( legally can ! ),there's nothing you can do about it !! They might let you get on if you're a 1st class ,or business class passenger ,but the odds aren't great ! It happened to my parents once before !! They gave 'em the next day flight because it was ANA & first class ,they were very expensive !! JAL was the most expensive back then ,I believe ( in the 80's & 90's ) my parents used to fly on JAL in the first class for a long while !! They switched because they had better prices . I once almost missed my flight ,Delta & they let me catch my plane ! I used to fly in their business class. The staff were very nice helping me ,but the flight attendants on my plane were real upset !! Lol And not to mention,I got all those dirty looks from other fellow passengers !! Lol. Actually happened twice to me ! Shame on me ! As I couldn't hear the announcement in the airport while shopping for my souvenirs ! Lol. So,be there early !! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
If Heathrow Airport is the John Lewis as it were then Luton is the Poundland version, it’s not exactly welcoming and does nothing well. Why would you want to come here it’s depressing?
@@quame_kbt I think budget airlines can be erratic,just like the airports. It’s one thing to try and fly from your local or nearest airport but it might be seen as cheeky to say Stanstead is a “London” airport, the marketing is misleading. I think British airports could be much better, my favourite airport is Schiphol. It’s big but works well,you feel you are in one terminal. Heathrow is a mixed bag, avoid terminal 4 as it’s nightmare to get to and really outdated.
Because the same flight from Heathrow is 10 times more expensive One example, London-Budapest with Ryanair is usually around £40-80 However, with British airways it's always £100-200 minimum Why would I pay more for the same?

How many hours before my flight should I be in the airport? 2 or 3?
Two hours should be enough at Luton as it not as big as Heathrow or Gatwick. However if you have some time to spare, 3 hours is ideal.

Some budget airline destinations cannot be gotten from ‘John Lewis’ except from Stansted, Gatwick and Luton.
