1- Thomas and Ethan aren't actually that shy and are really pleasant to listen to

hmm I agree but I think their English has gotten good enough now to do full interviews in English. I don't get why they didn't get an Italian tolk before tho, when Ethan and Thomas were still so clearly struggling with English and barely talking in interviews.
Obviously Damiano and Victoria are very comfortable and Ethan and Thomas didn't seem uncomfortable. You never improve speaking in another language if you don't practice it. Also I think they are famous enough now if they wanted to do every interview in Italian they could/would .

I’m really glad they wrote a song about, as Ethan puts it, ‘the system’. I’ve never lived in LA but from what I’ve heard, it’s always been like that in LA/Hollywood, in the entertainment business.
