Dream SMP: War every week, never ending conflict, too much chaos to keep up, thievery and bribery, one big roleplay.
And I love them both.

@@frankroma I have been watching it from season 3 I think, but not regularly, but I think the reason dream smp is more popular is because it's not just mc, it's roleplay. They could have been playing any other game and it would be fun. The point is that the focus is on them and not on the Minecraft aspect of the game xd

The Dream SMP may have good pvpers but seriously- Hermitcraft has everything else-
Hermitcraft is where all the buildings looks great for Role Playing but is rarely done seriously/throughout the season
Dream SMP is where they’re genuinely crafting stories and arcs with their characters during most of the time they’re on the server but the terrain and buildings are mostly abysmal
Either way both servers have a level of charm and care that is unique to each of them that honestly I hope more people from each server interact slightly more with one another, not necessarily join each other servers but just like, colabs like this and such
Hermitcraft has a lot of role playing later on it just takes a lot of time

Hermitcraft has something for everyone. Amazing builds which is their trademark. Technical Minecraft and Roleplay too. DreamSmp looks fun but has a huge way to go even before getting compared to Hermitcraft
