    I found your channel last night and I'm enjoying the tips and tricks! Do you have a background in television/hosting?
    I use a similar type product for the reasons you mentioned. But introducing liquid seaweed a few years ago was a game changer. You get vigorous growth, bigger leaves, and more flowers over time. Been using it for years and I'm always impressed how plants take off within a month of treatment.

    Just today, I stumbled upon your CZcams channel. Wow! Am I ever hooked on watching your excellent tips & tricks!!😁
    One question about applying OsmoCote: does it also need to be worked into the soil?
    Or are the OsmoCote beads simply lying on top of mulch/soil near the plant effective?
    Thanks!!

    would using a three prong be advantageous? That way it gets to the roots faster?

    Hi Silver...
    Does this fertilizer work on dry hard pan compacted clay soil and can I apply it the same way your applying it in your video or do you have an application recommendation for my situation?

    Hi Silver, great video and thanks. If my flower beds have rock, instead of mulch or rubber in them, will the fertilizer still get to the plants?

    • @SilverCymbal
      @SilverCymbal  Před 4 lety

      Yes, it will, the fertilizer will wash through the gravel and stone into the beds

    Doesn’t seem like enough, just a little sprinkle huh?

      Just got it and sprinkled it on plants. It does go quick though.

      It's concentrated and designed to last so a little can go a long way. I think you will be pleased with the results.

    At my camp I have flower beds that surround nearly the entire house that I layed down a couple of inches of compost then a couple of inches of Spruce/Pine mulch. Is it worth applying the Osmo on top of the mulch? And at my home I only layed down mulch. Will the Osmo still work through the mulch?

    • @SilverCymbal
      @SilverCymbal  Před 5 lety +1

      Sounds like plenty of good prep that you did. Yes Osmocote will go through the mulch and feed the beds throughout the season, most people put it on top of the mulch.

    Does it go through rock and or mulch or do you have to put it under

    • @SilverCymbal
      @SilverCymbal  Před 5 lety +1

      You can put it on top of mulch and gravel. The product will slowly dissolve and release through it. Underneath is fine too but not required.

    Sorry to disagree, but I've tried osmo & really haven't been impressed compared to weekly miracle grow sprinkling. but it is much easier.

    Wouldn't the hand spreader be the easies way for all of the applications you did? You will get even coverage every time. Also scotts makes a hand spreader called the wizz which is a battery operated one and its awesome. Way nicer than the normal hand spreader.
