Hello my lovely bunch of people! Today I am bringing to you my first ever Putri Ariani Reaction! I don't know how I haven't seen this video before, but I'm so glad I stumbled upon it as this girl has some talent!
I haven't heard of her before, obviously, even though Google says she has been active in shows in Indonesia before, as a child.
I think I got a good introduction to her for my first Putri Ariani reaction. She wrote her own song, she sang it beautifully, and therefore Simon gave her a golden buzzer!

AGT is a talent show (not specifically a singing contest).. putri has a wonderful voice, plays musical instruments and a composer also.. the golden buzzer is justifiable 😊

You got to Putri finally! She is self-taught in vocals up until high school. She has had no piano lessons. She also plays the flute, guitar, and a type of Indonesian xylophone.
She has worked with great artists since this performance. David Foster invited her to his "Hitman: David Foster and Friends" event. She sang "Beauty and The Beast" with the original singer, Pebo Bryson. (Who sounds amazing at 72). She also sang "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" there. She also practiced with David Foster on "I Will Always Love You", which she sang at another event.
Ronan Keating invited her to his concert in Indonesia to sing with him.

I think you didn’t get the point because you Gabriel fans. If this is just about the voice and tone, Cakra Khan technically better than Gabriel and should go to final and get the Goldeb Buzzer, but this about talent show. Like Simon said, She is still 17 years old (10 years younger than gabriel) she write a song and she have a great voice, play piano while she sang, and with his disability more even make it more amazing. Not many singer can do that. Thats what talent is. Well deserved Golden Buzzer in my opinion. She should get beyond Golden Buzzer. But i am glad peoples aknowledge her with her youtube views currently 10x than others contestants .

I took Gabriel as an example as he is the only other singer I heard from AGT. It has nothing to do with me being a "fan" of him. I only know him frim a few months ago.
@@fashionblank that’s probably true but what i am trying to say is you cannot judge some talent with only one criteria tone of voice and said it undeserved Golden Buzzer. If the criteria of tone is deserved Golden Buzzer you can check Cakra Khan which everyone on the show shock with how unique of his voice and don’t get Golden Buzzer even not in the live show.

She start writting her own songs since 11 yr old and now she has 24 original songs. The hits song is "loneliness" which she sang it on AGT audition.

Well bro, it is true appreciation of talent is a matter of taste and obviously in your channel nobody can challenge that you have every right in voicing your views. However it is hard to say except that your view is an exception to most other reactors and vocal coaches. Does it make your views wrong ? No. But you need to know that your views do not represent the majority.
By the way golden buzzers are given to special talents and is the prerogative of the judges as a special ticket straight to the semi-finals ( which strangely this season there are no other qualifiers but everyone including the golden buzzers acts included end up in the semis anyway. P.S. actually other than the golden buzzers the rest went thru’ another selection process by the judges without actually performing. That was different this year.).
So my point is unless one can say he or she is as good as Simon with his kind of track record in the music industry, whether we like him or not, in identifying special talent then we are as good as the football pundit who talk so much in football matches as compared to the real managers who can identify special talent like Messi, Ronaldo (Brazil) and Cristiiano Ronaldo.
To answer your curious question as to why she gets the golden buzzer and deserving it, well obviously she sings very well with emotions and all the vocal techniques and ranges which bellies her young age. Plus she writes and sing her own songs which is a very good song. And on top of that she is playing the piano without seeing, if that is not a special talent then I don’t know what is. Anyway don’t take my words for it but go to the various channels where almost all vocal coaches who reacted to her performances said this. You may not care what they say but their technical knowledge and experience probably carry more weight than the average wannabe reactors.
Lastly, hope you give some love to those who also disagree with you. But I can understand if you don’t as you said it is your channel you can say and do as you like yeah.

@@tomwhite4736 thanks for your response to my post…I do admire and respect his honest views even if it appears to be a little bit of an oddball, so if you care to look at my post there is nothing disrespectful, what I offered was a critique of some of his views and I am glad he did not delete them….
As to your question whether I believe all reactors are genuine…it is a moot point as no one could absolutely and with certainty says he can trust any reactions…we know reaction channels are form mostly to generate subs and views so they can monetise but does that mean that they cannot be genuine snd honest in their reviews at the same time ? if I were to use your argument can we say that this channel too may not be genuine as he may have hidden agenda…so to me that is a false premise to begin with as we might as well ignore all reactions…but what we can do is to look for some indicators which may allude and reflect honest and genuine reactions - true emotional effects of the performance on the reactors and most importantly reactions based on the person’s technical knowledge and experience in music and vocal training…tq

@@tomwhite4736 my apologies if I misread your comment…yes in the case of fake reactions you could actually smell from a mile away and the explosive interests in Putri as a result of her AGT performance has inevitably resulted in such reaction channels…however I am less of a skeptic and so I do find some of the reactions real and honest as I was also dabbling as an amateur singing in my younger days so you know when a singer is pitchy and out of tune and otherwise…anyways great to know someone who appreciates good young talents like Putri and Angelina…both of them will definitely add colors to the music industry…peace & love, man.

Since I know you're a big fan of Gabriel, I'm not surprised how you think about Putri's talent. Simon is not a clairvoyant who can predict that Putri's audition video will be going viral in internet so he must to give her the golden buzzer. he gave him golden buzzer purely because of his talent, and there was no discussion between Simon and the agt comitte about the plan that she should be given the golden buzzer to gain popularity on youtube. Gaining the CZcams viewing is not the main goal of NBC, AGT broadcasters, but advertising on TV is their biggest income.
Luckily only few people thinking like you. Maybe 99.9 percent people of the world admit the talents and excellences of Putri, not because of her "Cinderella effect". Only 0.1 percent do not admit it and most of them are massive supporters of Gabriel, because she is his big competitor on AGT.

This is just my opinion.. You’re already skeptical in the beginning. You framed and judged the talent is blind and people are just like her because of it. Many vocal coaches did their reactions and they judge it per phrases and they are still amazed by Putri. And you amazed me by saying She’s not worth the golden buzzer.. 👏👏👏 again it’s your channel and you’re free to have your own opinion. If you compare her to Gabriel, Gabriel is only a great singer, he is good!, but he can’t play the piano, he’s no song writer, he’s way older than Putri. Putri’s only 17 and she can go higher than she is now. Maybe when she’s reaching Gabriel’s age she will be more than Gabriel.
