    i am so happy to see a discussion on my favorite drummer and especially his special connection with Cedar Walton, who never played as well with any other drummer.
    One must not forget Higgins special connection with Sam Jones either. The way those three felt and understood each other cannot be repeated or learned.
    They were not called The Magic Triangle for nothing!

    I'm a big fan of Lee Morgan's, "Search For The New Land"...BH really came through on that album and really made me fall in love with his work.

    Smiling Billy Higgins I first met when he was with Rollins and I followed up all his career working with Cedar Walton, Clifford Jordan and George Coleman.
