This is probably one of the BEST sermons I've ever heard on Ruth & Boaz. Stephen Thurston II, a master homiletician, presents this story a unique way that's not the average "Sunday School Lesson," but rather in a way that invites us all to critically think about what this story is saying and WHAT REALLY happened. We often hear women, particularly in the church say, "I'm waiting on my BOAZ. You'll have some women pastors who will speak into women's life at a marriage or singles conference and declare, "Woman of God, You're RUTH!! ...That's fine...but are you doing what Ruth did? The Bible says a man finds a wife finds a good thing. What he teaches conflicts against that.
Please let's be very careful when listening to people like this. As children of God we are led by the Spirit of God. We don't go around hitting our heads like people without direction. We should know God and His word for ourselves. Our God is forever faithful and His promises are yes and amen

While some points and the joking were a bit off, I did value the book of Ruth.
It shows how honorable woman still reach men's hearts when Ruth literally had nothing and nobody to return to; but her countrymen and eventual Redeemer who became down the family line to be the Christ.
Your honor behavior and reputation can go a very long way.
That healthiness, responsibility, and fitness mattersthe heart matters too.
