Oh no! I'm sorry the weather didn't come through for you guys. I've never looked into going to the Maldives (mainly bc of how long it takes to get there) but it's still a bucket list travel destination and now you can say you've been :)
It was such a spur of the moment thing and unfortunately the weather wasn’t great. I’d still try another remote island holiday like the Seychelles, or Fiji but maybe when I’m older and just want to relax.

Hi, we had an “ok” time there. Despite the rain, the hotel was just ok, I’ve stayed at better places with more variety of activities and restaurant options. I think you might have a better experience in the summer. Bon chance!
