I saw this amazing film 30 minutes ago (I fill so sorry for rocket 😥) plus I bit Rocket will be a amazing leader for the new Guardians team
I’m actually going to go see this. It seems like they knew how to make a new team of characters that actually gives the audience what they want but not all. They are not destroying what the comics were about and without ignoring it
Thanks for this video. Keep up the good work as always.
Thank you for the comment! I appreciate it
i honestly thought that they was going to kill off star lord and gamora drax nebula groot rocket raccoon and just have kraglin and cosmo adam warlock mantis being the new guardians of the galaxy but i was wrong man but I'm so glad that nobody didn't die tho
I think someone needed to die just to add more emotion to everything, but I'm also happy they're all still around and can easily come back at any time
@@TheNerdDoc yeah I agree with you on that one
What if starlord is coming in avengers 5th movie or 4th
I think we'll see almost everyone in the next two Avengers movies, but those won't really push his story forward unless that's when he meets Nova or something (which may be the case).
I’m hoping for a solo Star Lord film. At the end there is a title card that comes up that says “The Legendary Star-Lord will return” but it wasn’t just a traditional black screen with words it looked like a title card for a movie to me.
They really played up the falsehood someone would die. Not saying I wanted that but they did it to get buts in the seats only.
Agreed! I was absolutely expecting someone to die, and almost disappointed that didn't happen
Personal opinion. I'm happy no one from the Guardians or main cast died in the 3rd movie. I get that a death of a character is great for shock value, but with all the emotional turmoil going about. Yeah I rather have a near death experience over an actual death. I was worried for Rocket during his time of crisis, and nearly jumped out of my seat in joy when he recovered. Plus all the other carnage going about, there was enough death already.
Most of the other death didn't really matter though. Counter-Earth getting destroyed had very little emotional impact because we didn't really care about the inhabitants that we'd only known for 10 minutes. That said, the situations the Guardians were in here do not warrant deaths aside from Rocket. Gunn would've needed to put them in more perilous situations for it to really have a solid emotion impact and add to the film.
Instead of Drax getting shot in the back on the Orgoscope, maybe he's stuck on the High Evolutionary's ship with Mantis, and chooses to sacrifice himself to save Mantis or something.
All that said, I'm glad they're all still alive because they can easily return, but I would've enjoyed the movie more if I felt anyone was ever in real danger.
I just know we'll see them all come back in avengers 5 and 6 to help them fight kang.
Several of the actors are saying they're done, so we'll see. Definitely possible
10/10
This movie was incredible. Maybe my new favorite Marvel movie.
Soo... apparently Star-Lord can breathe in space because he is Ego's son.
YONDU DIED FOR NOTHING.
He died for freedom from Disney.
nah, he died for emotional stakes
LOL. To be fair, he can't breath in space, he can just survive longer than a normal human. Put any normal human in that same situation and he'd be dead long before Adam got there
Not only that but in the first movie he was dying without the mask when saving gamora
Let’s just say this.
Star Lord in the first movie. Can fly and has a helmet that can make him breathe in space
Star Lord in Vol 2- Needs Rockets aero rig to fly(what happened to the flying boots?) Still has helmet.
Star Lord in Avengers- can fly with his boots and still has helmet.
Star Lord in Vol 3 - No flying boots or anything? No helmet that can make him breathe in space? WTF, guess this was left out to make that almost death scene dramatic.
That slave kid phyla is marvel I think
she's mostly known as quasar but she has worn the Captain Marvel mantle.
In the comics Phyla-Vell is the daughter of Mar-Vell, the original Captain Marvel. Not sure how they're going to handle her in the MCU since her origin seems to be changed considerably. She'll probably still be pretty powerful, but hard to say how they'll give her powers. She is a member of the Guardians in the comics though, so that tracks
