I’ll never be able to afford them but it was an interesting watch.
Sounded like you were drinking that Bru all the way through the first half of the video.
The speeded up ending caused me to eat an entire plate of cheese on toast at double speed. I looked down and it was all gone.
The speakers look fantastic but the dogs the real star of the show..
It must feel like Xmas every day Jon unboxing all this beautiful stuff 🙂
Hello John, I recently purchased the classic hub with dual mono organic DAC for my system.. between the mola mola, t+a dac200 and rose hifi 150b I found the Linn to be the best.. I see the 360s at my dealer.. but have not troubled them to give me a demo.. I have new found respect and love for Linn.. I enjoy watching your videos.. thanks so much.. -Ramesh
Thank you for watching the videos. You are welcome to visit us for a listen to the 360s at our showroom...
Another great video John. I am hoping that Linn will continue this new design language to other speakers in their range,
I'm sure that is the plan... Start with the flagship 360 and then adapt the design throughout the rest of the range.
Nice one, John, Iv can't say the dog was much help though !!. Look forward to your listening assessment.
Yes but Charlie does have the best ears in the business...
All this will be happening at my house soon. My question is how does one level the speakers? I can see side to side leveling being done by placing a beam level across the two front feet of the base. However, front to back leveling seems more challenging. How do you do it?
Thank you for watching. The base of the Linn 360 speaker has adjustable threaded spike feet at each corner. The locking ring is then used nnce you have made the required adjustments. Your dealer will perform all the setup for you - so you don't need to do anything. Enjoy the 360 when you get them - they are fabulous speakers. ripcaster.co.uk/linn_360_loudspeaker
@@ripcastercouk What I meant to ask is for front to back leveling, what type of level do you use, and where do you place it?
I'm sure they sound amazing but the lack of protection for the drivers makes me uncomfortable. Would be interested to hear why they removed the grilles from previous designs.
The drive units are fairly robust - they are made of Beryllium, carbon fibre, and aluminium - so you would need to apply some force to damage them (unlike traditional paper/silk speakers cones/domes)... I suspect the constant curvature of the cabinets would make grills impractical. You are welcome to visit ripcaster to see and hear the 360. We have them on permananet demonstration in our showroom - ripcaster.co.uk/visit_ripcaster
@@ripcastercouk thanks for the info. Bit far for me as I’m in Norfolk. I certainly want to hear them though. Are they as good as everyone says?
