There's a unmistakable decadence to these tunes. Something only concocted in the sordid streets of London Town. Makes me want to prowl those streets and sample it's infamous treats...
Thats why Petes writing has always seemed similar to Shane McGowan...songs about down n outs and the lives they lead...two great writers. R.I.P Shane.

Pete is so underrated in tone, chord progressions. I’m sure a lot of the tone comes from the Libertines but Jesus. There’s nothing more unique and pleasant.
