  • So many Legions fans have never "popped" a figure apart. Oftentimes it is because they are afraid that doing so will break their figure. Rest assured that these toys are MEANT to be popped and swapped, and this video will take you through the process of doing it safely!

    This is how I’m going to introduce a buddy to the line. I have bags and bags of parts and I told him next time we hang out that I’ll bring my bags and let him build a figure and I’ll paint it for him whatever he decides

    Great work, Sir Girard. Great refresh of the older video! If I may add, and I am NO expert, would be to touch on the better Order of Operations for newcomers, ie its easier to pop the torso onto the legs/hips without the head and neck on (also less possible stress on them) , putting the hands or feet on after the pegs are in the arms or legs instead of trying to pop the small joint into the hands or legs with no real leverage. Love what you do for the community!

    Good quick tutorial. I'm pretty new to Mythic Legions (long time admirer, new figure owner). I've only been swapping heads and pauldrons but might look at doing more of what you've shown. Thanks for sharing!

    You could do a whole pop and swap ASMR video 😂 It reminds me of the Eddie Izzard bit about chiropractors... "Make the noise!"

    Oh this is so helpful,I finally dove head first into this realm I ordered the entire Necronominus wave except for the weapons pack,three figurines from wave 5 and Poxxus along with Phlogueus.can’t wait to get my hands on those toys but in the mean time I gotta order me some that are accesible since I have nothing with me yet hehe

    Thank you for demonstrating proper popping technique. I'll confess that for a few years, even after having been into Glyos, I too was afraid to do any part swapping and totally forgot it was part of the play pattern. Granted, I only had a single figure any way. But now I love it so much.

      It is definately not necessary to pop and swap tp enjoy these figures, but it definately add SO much fun to the line!

    This is a great video for me. Just to further validate your point on remaking this. I'm exactly the person you made this for. I'm new to the line and have maybe 5. I do have way more than i care to admit on order from the new wave though lol. Anyways, i had no clue about how many items were removeable. I only ever did the feet that already had rockers and hands/head. Really helpful video. I actually have the two you showed off since like you said, they're still available at retail. I love the dark templar knight. I really do not like the wings on his head though and wish you all sold a pack of alternate filler items for them. other than that amazing figure.

      Thanks for the comment! Trust me, once you start collecting these YOU will have tons of extras of helmet parts and so much more! That is one of the great parts of the line, getting all those extra so you can choose how you want to display! Enjoy!

    Perfect. Glad to see an updated versions of things covered before. Curious about heat. I always trip on letting my heat gun stay too long on one spot…fearful of melting plastic, paints, or other adhesives. Am I overthinking? If a heat gun has a heat setting, what temp is too much?

    • @MythicCustoms
      @MythicCustoms  Před rokem +1

      I don't use a heat gun for that very reason. I prefer a hair dyer. They get more than hot enough to heat the toy, but since they are made to be used on humans, they don't get so extreme that you really have to fear melting the toy! For me, hairdryer is a much safer option (and most people have one in their bathroom closet already)!

      Try extremely hot water first. It usually is enough and will not harm figure in any way.

    Do you have pop and swaps for the new half giant and maybe a future one coming for wizards and poxxus coming down the line? God I’m chomping at the bits for those figures when they get here.

    Have you ever used a 3d printed part? Like and outside 3d printed chest piece or anything.

    • @MythicCustoms
      @MythicCustoms  Před rokem

      Ummm....yes. I've used many 3D-printed parts. I've also designed quite a few!
