Hi Gemma, I know you might not see this comment but I wanted to let you know how important your channel is to me. I stumbled across it in 2021 when I was going through the worst time of my life. My partner and Mum were both ill and my life was so chaotic and unpredictable. The one consistent thing I had in my life was knowing that a new video would be up on a Sunday and that I could rewatch all of your old videos as often as I liked. I know for some it might sound silly but it really was one of the few things that kept me going. I got married on the 1st of December we had a Christmas wedding it was so magical,what made it even more magical it lightly snowed so we had a light dusting of snow it just made the whole day extra special ❤

Wedding hairstylist here!!! For your twists hold the band with one hand then pinch small bits of the twists then pull that out and repeat on little bits until it’s loose enough for you! 💕

I decided to do my makeup myself ... I couldn't trust that someone would do what I would like... I did not regret that decision. All new makeup for the wedding day was the key for me I think. That was 22 years ago this Saturday 🫢❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Loving the wedding series. I got married in sept 2019. It was 19 degrees and absolutely perfect 💛 (and I’m an autumn girlie I don’t like the heat). It’s nice to have lots of time to plan everything. Xx

I got married in august so this brings back a lot of great memories. As far as planning, we did it in 6 months because it was the only date left for the year. It was a little bit stressful once it got closer to the date but definitely doable if that makes you feel any better

I'm getting married October 1st 2025 so it's nice to watch someone doing things at the same time as myself and I'm loving watching wedding content I cab relate to as most of the wedding content online is Americans where as I'm in the UK so can't relate as much so the fact your also in the UK is nice and refreshing

Aw Gemma, wedding planning is such an exciting time! I would recommend booking hair and make up, as its all part of the experience and pamper on the day! We got married in May 2021 and the weather was perfect - sunny and warm but not hot! The first venue looked magical! 🥂🤍
You can do Autumn decorating in November! How gorgeous! Here in America we do Autumn decorating right up to December 1st!

I booking my wedding last year for 2024 sand I’m so glad I gave myself two years to plan it. It’s meant that I haven’t been overwhelmed about costs etc and I’ve enjoyed the process without getting stressed. There’s obviously still time for me to get stressed out but everything is booked and sorted the only thing we need to sort now is the decorations and the honey moon. I want to be able to enjoy planning the honeymoon instead of pushing that to the back of the list :) so I think your doing the right thing choosing 2025

September will be nice. I got married November 29th we had a Christmas tree and decorations up. Kind of got the best of both my favourite times autumn and Christmas. You will choose the right date ❤️🥂

I would pull out some more bits to frame your face to give a softer bridal look so no gaps at the sides, definitely curl in opposite directions (ribbon curles) and pinch at each curve in the curl lift up and spray for more volume. I would twist more from the tip and clip with Kirby grips as then you can pull at the twist to make a more full style.

I find the pink makeup tones suit you. Pinky nude lip with bronze eye shadow and glowy skin would be a great wedding makeup look. I dont think the reddish brown brow suits you bc of your cooler hair colour. Also can you try shimmery white eye makeup for the next wedding makeup video 😊

I had basically that exact style of hair for my wedding and I loved it in person, but you can't see my face in so many of my wedding photos, especially candid ones and ceremony shots. I'd recommend less hair in the front!!

2 years planning is perfect! Trust me you realise how much you need to do and with that amount of time helps take that pressure off and also gives you time to afford it all for what you want, book the suppliers you want and the 2 years will fly! We are within our 12 month countdown and I feel like last year flew by! All so very exciting, good luck with it all 🤍🤍

I’m a makeup artist and got my first bride in august your inspo is flawless and timeless
I’ve just booked my wedding for Nov 25, and it’s really not too early to start planning. Some florists and suppliers need at least a years notice I’ve found. Then you can compare prices and get exactly what you’d like because you have time and they have availability. Congrats on your wedding journey to you both. I’m excited to see more x

I get married this October in a Barn style venue surrounded by countryside views! We have an autumnal theme as its my favourite season and decor! We booked it 2 years ago and its came round so fast!! Good luck with everything 🤍

Lovely venues. 26 months is a long way off. Please get insurance just in case the venue you book goes under. It happens as I'd hate for you to go through that.
