Not to mention regardless of who he's playing, Cruise being in a movie immediately elevates it to a blockbuster. To me, someone who gives their all, is that talented, and does so much of his own stunts and learning and skills, that to me is more enticing and enjoyable to watch
Not to mention, he's like a movie character in real life, so if that's who he ends up playing, I'll still watch. He's a great role model for what I wish more actors and men were like. Committed, always willing to push and struggle and do hard work to go above and beyond.

@@jacobl6714 There is no doubt about it because, it is true. Tom Cruise doesn't play anybody but himself and that's not being a good actor because he's one-dimensional. He stays in his comfort zone so he doesn't have to act. His Top Gun movies aren't nothing special at all because, Tom Cruise is a licensed pilot in real life, so what challenges that he has to conquer in those movies ( and others), except for being himself. I give REAL actors credit for their phenomenal, and versatile characters they have portrayed in films. Actors who really have to act, (unlike Tom Cruise), who uses his star power and get paid millions of dollars just to be himself.

Jerry Maguire is such a timeless film with memorable scenes. Masterclass acting by all involved. Would love to see more like that and Vanilla Sky from Tom

Best movie I've ever seen - it has nostalgia, tension, great storyline, amazing camera work and acting. World class
lol...you must not have seen many movies. It may be the best footage from fighter jets that I've ever seen, and some nice Top Gun nostalgia, but the plot was predictable and not very deep...hardly the best movie I've ever seen. It was, however, a fitting sequel to Top Gun and well worth seeing.
Tom Cruise always puts sweat and tears in all his movies he is on, so when you go see a Tom Cruise movie you are guarantee entertainment at the highest quality.

Honey butter is a great callsign and is more realistic than the movie! Callsigns aren't chosen for the most part. They are given by your fellow pilots. They're often not very complimentary and usually a joke that describes the person or something embarrassing that they did in training.

The movie callsings are actually real callsigns. At least in the original Top gun they used callsigns from real pilots and the call signs of the new kids in Maverick are the callsigns the actors where given during training for the movie.
I saw this one pilot in the news called "Gang" and his last name was Greene 😂😂
These bits that Tom does with James are instant classics. I think Tom likes to keep his comedic chops in shape through them, and I imagine they're just fun and kind of therapeutic for him to do given the amount of stress and seriousness that he subjects himself to when he's making his action films. I actually hope that he soon does another movie with a lot of comedy; he's quite good at humor.

The movie is amazing! Go see it on the biggest screen possible. I've already seen it 3 times and I'm going again this weekend. The sound of the jets, the visuals. You'll be blown away. All worth the price of the ticket!
I saw it in 4DX. It was amazing like a full on DIsney experience … chairs moving all directions and vibrating, bullet shots on your legs, wind on your face, fog, moisture, flashing gunfire, sound coming from everywhere. It was SO worth it.
Tom Cruse and James Cordon always do the most hilarious shows when they are together. I love their vibe and of course I am looking forward to watching the movie! Is going to be epic!

Absolutely loved Top Gun:Maverick! Exhausted by the end of the film, with the brilliant cockpit views of the many incredible fighter manoeuvres. Such a great story, I remember the original Top Gun like it was yesterday, the characters are like a best friend that you never forget. The final scene for The Iceman was simply beautiful, the real life context, heartrending Congratulations to James Corden for your continuing saga of adventures with Tom Cruise ;))

Guys... I like Top Gun and all that, but the movie really wasn't anything special. Half of the film was an homage and a reminder of the first Top Gun, there wasn't anything original in it really. And once again who is the "enemy''? Some imaginary country they never name. God forbid they would ever potentially offend China or Russia. At least this time they don't use painted-over F-5's as the non-existent MIG-28's.
