  • Chicken Thighs in Creamy Mushroom Sauce.
    A Favorite Dish of Our Guests!
    Ingredients:
    • 4 chicken thighs
    • 1 onion
    • 3 mushrooms (champignons)
    • 150 ml cream
    • 60 g butter
    • 50 ml vegetable oil
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 teaspoon of sugar
    • 1 tsp nutmeg
    • 1 tsp rosemary and thyme blend
    Instructions:
    1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    o Rinse and pat dry the chicken thighs.
    o Peel and finely chop the onion.
    o Slice the mushrooms.
    2. Prepare the Sauce:
    o In a bowl, mix the cream with a spoonful of sugar, nutmeg, rosemary, and thyme.
    o Season with salt and pepper to taste, then stir well.
    3. Sear the Chicken:
    o Heat the butter and vegetable oil in a skillet.
    o Sear the chicken thighs on both sides until golden brown, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
    4. Sauté the Onion and Mushrooms:
    o In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
    5. Make the Sauce:
    o Add the cream mixture to the skillet with the onions.
    o Stir well and bring to a boil.
    6. Simmer the Chicken in the Sauce:
    o Return the seared chicken thighs to the skillet with the sauce.
    o Place the mushrooms on top of the chicken.
    o Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20-30 minutes, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
    7. Serve:
    o Serve the chicken thighs hot, in the creamy mushroom sauce.
    o Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
