Hi Paul. I have the Syngonium Confetti (not milk) which was very bushy when I bought it but since transferring to leca it’s just going backwards. Some of my Syngoniums grow well in leca but this one, no. I’m not keen to put it back into soil and have been wondering if it’s just taking a while to adjust to the change. As you know these plants can handle being in water so I thought that leca would be ok. Any suggestions?

It’s odd, because they usually live Leca. Have you tried refreshing the water more regularly until there are new roots showing? I still have a 3 kings in just water doing fine. Might be worth a shot…?

Can you please show Calathea Makyona in water?

Hello there. My makoyana was one of the many that got devoured by thrips. 😞. They’re like a magnet for pests.

Any advice for a millipede infestation in a dieffenbachia reflector without having to repot?
I'm aware they're mostly harmless but I've invested way too much time and money into my collection to risk them spreading and it looks awful.
Currently isolated, drying the soil completely to starve the moisture seem to be mostly in the base 40+ adults and babies

Hmmm. I haven’t come across that in any of my plants. (I don’t like growing in soil if possible). Have you tried bottom watering with hydrogen peroxide? Might agitate them and force them out so they dry up. They need a moist environment. I wouldn’t use dish soap since that could ruin the roots.

I've been growing 25 years it's the first time I've come across it as well.
I have an automated indoor rainforest all highly controlled.
Tried hydrogen peroxide but only got the ones right at the bottom and returned.
I usually only use coco and my own nutes solution but mostly hydro and aquatics but this was is the substrate from the nursery.
      Looks like I'll be repotting

@@David_Camerwrongun I hear you. I would repot too, but more because I’m not a big fan of soil in most cases.
