Fabulous! I'm trying to figure out how I'd like to make mine over. This is a good idea, thanks

I like how you explore many options and show close up work. I have antique chandelier with the holes, but I wanted to have the crystals hang lower (cuz of high ceilings). I wasted a lot of time and energy already, but decided to see what other people were doing.
UPDATE: The easiest way i found is use jewelry wire and a jump ring. Thread it up through the hole and tie several times on top. (If the knots still slip through the hole, thread a bead through, use a crimp bead or a ring up there on top of the petal.) Work on 2 crystals at a time, so you break up the time you have to stand on the ladder. Wish I'd figured this out before I wasted hours using other methods.
Also if you can't drill your own holes, then E6000 large jump rings where you want crystals. "Designed to the Nines" shows this on CZcams.

Thank you, I have several strings of Chrystal and haven’t been able to figure
How to enhance my hanging lamp.

Красиво получилось! 👍 Я тоже сам люблю светильники мастерить, жирандоли сделал с хрустальным убором.

вау, жирандоли ... это так красиво!

  • @christiane-marieabusarah6036

Did you change the brass color or paint the chandelier to get it to the color in the after photo? Thank you!

Oh, I didn't even notice the change in brass color! It's just due to difference in lighting. It was hanging in the dining room before and I changed the location to the family room.

What did you add in place of the ball I took mine off and don’t know what to put there

Hi Shanice, I just screwed back on what was below the ball. Basically, I took only the ball out and put back on the decorative pieces below the ball. And that totally looked fine.

I have the exact brass chandelier. Where would I order the crystal from?

Hi Angela, I've bought budget crystals from an ebay store that has really great prices and I was pretty happy with them (I put a link to that store at the bottom of description box that appears right below the video), but their crystals tend to be on the smaller side. If you want large, nice quality crystals, they can be expensive to buy, costing $3-$5 each, so what I do is go to Craigslist and look for ugly crystal chandeliers that people are selling cheap and salvage just the crystals.
