- Gameplay footage of the classic tabletop "air hockey" game for Macintosh, Shufflepuck Cafe. Very fun game. When I was a kid, my friend and I wrecked my parents' Kensington trackball mouse playing this game for hours. ;)
System is a Macintosh SE/30 w/32mb of RAM, running System 7.0.1

My first game I played at 7 years old. So crazy how I remember the characters, music, and gameplay so vividly.
First computer game I ever played, aged 3. I remember most of those guys being absolutely unbeatable. A classic. Thank you for posting this.
It's amazing. I played this game on my brother's college roommate's computer when I was just a kid. Not sure why I was thinking of it just now but a quick Google search brought me here. Thanks for the nostalgia.
Hahaha me too bro
I used to have this exact version on an old black and white Macintosh along with a host of other games I'll never get to enjoy again because my parents threw the computer out. This hit me right in the childhood. :(
so much great memories with this game :)

@@spokiee2000 Eh, not the same version. This might've had some actual *color* graphics (lol), but the Macintosh version was superior.
@@Ree1981 oh, the black and white version is what i played in school when i was younger, you must've been spoiled to have it in color LOL
This game is so addicting! I found this with a old mac SE and cant stop playing it. Old games rule :D
I remember playing this in Jr. High Super Fun!! Great Memories!!
Omg i played it as a kid and today i suddenly though about it and i ve been searching for this !!!! Thank u ♡

This took me back - waaaaayyyy back
My eldest brother loved this game. RIP Jan 2012
Aw dude, my condolences
I had that one. The Dog and the big fat guy gave me nightmare for years...
Omg I loved this game as a kid. I played it well into the late 90's
oh my gosh I remember playing this in second grade! it's AMAZING how far technology has come in 14 years.
24....... 32 now lol
I wrecked a mouse as a kid playing this too, happy memories :)
OMG I was searching for this game since I was a kid!!!
(Found it within 20 seconds of actually trying to Google though, lol)
I love the intro music on the Mansion title screen.
Love this game. I still play the IIGS version every now and then. Props for using real hardware.
I've played this sooooo much when I was a kid!!
How I love this game !! I never won agains the lady, and the laugh of Biff is unforgettable !
I only remembered the robot, pig, and nerdy dude. I don't think I ever played the others.
Haha it's high school all over again. Good times
The memories... The memories of making the bat the size of the whole table and never losing...
Or winning...
Man I played this game for hours and hours and hours as a kid, along with Beyond Dark Castle, and Shadowgate. I remember in this game, something in Eneg's (the military pig character) profile where he told his wife, "I'm revolting" and she replied, "You certainly are!"
Oh memories
We had this game on our school macs and I remember like half the players being basically impossible to beat.
Thanks for doing this. Loved the thing along with Shatterball. I had system 7 in my 40's, so I was no kid playing this. I suppose I downloaded from some university using ftp back then. Maybe when I'm old and in the home....I an go back to this. Might keep me sharp.
the very first game in my life that made me rage
Looks like fun.
This game had that feel of one personality behind it. Which made it a charmer. Didn't we download these from Universities to play at 28k?
I haven't played this game in years!
This reminds me of being a kid again... I loved this game. This was back when it wasn't cool to own an Apple product.
It still isn't lol....
Can I just say that Biff looks fucking terrifying?
I used to play this game a ton as a kid, i don't remember all the opponents being so difficult though!
my brain got ograsm from these childhood memories
I remember the sound effects of this game on my old Plus and I can tell the sound effects of the robot when he scores or losses a point are cut out in this video. Not for Biff though.
OMG I REMEMBER THIS
Back when I had a Mac SE, I actually beat Bif a few times, but it sure wasn't easy!
fuck biff. same i beat him a bit...but it was tough
this is just like I remember it ^^ although I only remembered the cheating witch and the alien that gets drunk as you play him.
I played a version like this that was a lot simpler and didn't have the robot. I think it might have been on the Mac Plus or Power PC
THIS GAME OWNED (OWNS)! :D
So hard!
@jon8686 There's a remake of this game on iPad now called "Shufflepuck Cantina". It's pretty good!
Should be remade for iPad!
I played this version on the pc of my grandmother when I was young :)
Actually, I search the pc's version...
i used to play this game when i was a kid and was never able to beat biff. i downloaded it today and played it on an emulator (dos box) and was able to beat the whole tournament.
only nerual gave me difficulty. he won 9 points before i figured out the trick to beating him.
I always like the Mac version better because you get to play the robot and I guess that grim reaper dude.
funhaus
the opponents were all quite easy to beat
i went crazy years later on a real table :)
omg I searched for this gameplay because I was suddenly thinking about the fat guy's laugh
The paddles sound like tinfoil when the puck connects.
Has anyone put Bachman on CZcams?!
The old macs had very good sound but no color strange.
way better on the Amiga
Should bd
this game was impossible. biff and beijin were cheap as fuck. so was the little guy.
Zzzzzzzz
