Alabama Clay and Everytime It Rains are my favorites from the first album, and this live performance is excellent. Garth Brooks and Enrique Iglesias are my top two favorite artists (different genres of course), and the same was true for Iglesias' songs that didn't get released as singles or got played on the radio, especially stuff from his Spanish albums.
Garth is one of those artists where it's a must to listen to the whole album. I would've missed so many great songs like this one if I only listened to the more well-known classics.

I really love this version. That one line he adds towards the end “It’s raining on me/and I love the rain” isn’t in the studio version but I think it adds a nice touch. It shows even though the relationship didn’t work out, there’s fondness in the memory. Sort of a “don’t be sad it’s over, smile because it happened” sort of thing. It’s subtle, but I think it’s great.

ya know as much as I know about this guy and all his songs, it's ones like this and others that are not on his greatest hits albums that I never knew he had done or even existed. I think that largely has to do with the fact that til mr. I wish he would go back to doing a show like this. He puts too much emphasis on jumping around and his singing suffers from it.

Man, those first two albums... I thought it was the second coming of Hank Williams and a truly respectable evolution of country music.
