- In this video I go over a quick and easy hack for any easy rig to get more stable footage. Using all items you can get from amazon for only around 40 dollars.
Items used in video:
Small Frog Clip: amzn.to/3vztjzC
Rocket Straps Bungee Cords: amzn.to/3vBayMd

This is great thanks ! I was looking for an other solution for handheld walking shots without too much up down movement 👍🏻
dude this is sick
Good work man, is it still working out for you, and does it help when trying to keep the camera steady at longer focal lengths? Thanks
Amazing Bro
interesting, I've seen the kong clip trending with filmmaker rigs. Good to see how you use it. Loved that VHS tape transition.
Thanks! it took me way longer then it should have to make that sequence
Nice dude ur videos helps me alot!
Im glad to hear that this video was able to help you out!
Yo, fix your audio levels between music and dialogue, and your vid is almost unmatchable at full brightness in a normal room mate.
Good content though
Cool idea! I'm curious to try it out, but a little lost as to where the bungee and carabiner is attached to?
Thanks for the view. The carabiner is connected to the kong quick release mount I showed in the beginning of the video. I modified my easy rig to have a kong on it instead of the regular top handle clamp they come with. I have links for everything needed in the description.
What was the song name for the montage segment?
Not exactly sure I did download it from epidemic sound though
We’ll done
I know this is a budget buster, but the ultimate would be a 4D with easy rig set up.
That would be next level!
@@enriquegonzalez2674 the 4D is looking better and better.
@@timdanyo898 I love the concept I Just feel like lens selection is limiting.
you’re color grading and lighting when you’re on the computer at the end is nuts. you should do some color grading tutorials.
Thanks Posh. I never thought about color grading tutorials but Im always open to try new vids.
The footage looks shaky. But the idea is cool. Originally easyrig uses a spring. Did you try a spring instead of the bungee?
Great instructional and A-B comparison, and shoutout to a fellow MKE filmmaker! 💯✌
Hey, thanks for the feedback. Did you recognize where we shot?
@@enriquegonzalez2674 for sure! My very first studio in MKE was in Walkers Point, and I used to shoot fashion (stills) down in that area by the UWM water facility, before it was built up in the past few years. Recognised it immediately. 😁
@@matthewbushey9455 Sounds like so much fun! Do you shoot strictly fashion?
@@enriquegonzalez2674 I mainly shoot editorial fashion/beauty, but have a ton of commercial clients as well, mostly legal/health care/manufacturing, for which I shoot lots of video and some photo. I added video to my offerings in 2012, and it's been a game-changer for sure! When I added video, I switched all gear over to Sony, and have updated bodies and such a few times since then . . . so now I use A7R5, 2 FX6's, FX3, and a whole host of other support gear (RS3 Pro, jib crane, lots of DJI as well) 😁
Just a few questions :
For this setup I would need 2x frog carabiners (one on the easy rig rope and the other to hold the camera) and a bungee cord with a carbiner ?
How did you attach the frog carabiner to the easy rig cord ? 😅
Out of curiosity how long was your bungee cord ?
I am looking to try this method out !
I used a tutorial by a CZcams channel called crimson engine on how to replace the original easy rig attachment with the carabiner. As far as the bungee cord I have links in the description to all the parts used! Hope this helps.
@@enriquegonzalez2674 yes thanks a lot 👍🏻 !!
