Good stuff. Glad you got to the end. I prefer Nioh 2 way more, but definitely agree Nioh 1 is a solid 8.
As for the bae guardian spirit, if you activate her and use her like you did in the video (when you didn't understand what she did) make sure she hits something. She gives you two free onmyo buffs that let you collect amrita super fast and fills the gauge almost instantly. Which lets you spam guardian spirit a lot. And water attacks reduce enemy defense I think. Could be wrong.
As for DLC, I won't lie to you, but it may push you over the edge and put you in an insane asylum. Especially the first boss. I'm fairly experienced with Niohs and I think DLC for Nioh 1 is a bit overtuned.

Fun fact, hundred eyes is made trivial if you apply weakness, walk behind him and spam. He has basically no melee attacks that are threatening, and u can instantly clear out all his minions if you have any area damage (storm kunai demolish them)

@@BeenHoly Yeah, don't forget "No co-op for duo duels", and the opponents have no chill(oh, except that one ;) ;) )
You need to get to way of the wise (ng+3) to get the final stuff, as there are unique items only available if you get to it. And its also required for the 100%

@@BeenHoly ng+2 adds enemies that have modifiers. Its not that bad, I ran a tonfa build that lets you have gun tonfa's. Literally gun-chucks. Shit was gas.

@@BeenHoly nah, I spent 4 hours on the first boss dawg and quit 3 different times. All while calling it bullshit, unbeatable and not fair.
I think spent another 2 on the second boss and went "Lock in" and just downloaded her moveset and cooked her.
Bro this boss is nothing until you meet masamune date and sanada yukimura in DLC Nioh go try beat em 👍👍
