I got slice society recently and I really like it! It’s not as basil forward as I was hoping (chasing the scent of Marc Jacobs Basil from like 2006 🥲), but it smells like fresh baked crust on me and I’m into it
@@AnaPie896 I waited as long as I could but I had to try it too. I feel like it’s more masculine than I anticipated but it’s so weird and wonderful. So far soda snob is my absolute fav from them. Coco shimmy is good too. Just more pineapple-ly than coco nutty.

👏 yes! Do it! I reapply through the day AND where it to bed. People always act like I’m crazy for doing this when I tell them, but then weeks later I’ll hear from them that they incorporated a “fragrance practice” (lol) into their lives and are super happy about it 😆
Bianco Latte really is that girl! I’m really glad it went viral because I’d been looking for a Canadian retailer that stocked it for months beforehand and had no luck until it picked up some hype online. fragrance influencers really can have a hand in making niche frags more accessible since they signal to retailers that stocking certain items will be profitable so keep letting us know about those niche gourmands, please 😉❤

Same! Except I sprayed it in store and was very meh about it. Then I impulse bought a travel spray during the Sephora sale last fall (seems problematic in retrospect lol) … well now I love it and bought the biggest size possible on fragbuy 😂 It’s just such an easy likeable all season reach!

For anyone interested, The Matcha has been on Costco’s website recently for $229.99 (3.7oz). As has Santal 33 (same price) and Another 13 (currently $179.99 for 3.7oz and $159.99 for 1.7oz). Still expensive but better prices!
I love The Noir so maybe I’ll go do a sniff test of The Matcha at some point.
It’s so good. It’s different from Thé Noir, but in the same family I’d say. A distant cousin. It’s warmer, a touch fruitier. Both so gorgeous for cooler weather though!

I recently got Teo Cabanel “Ohh la la” and OMG the hazelnut, orris, suede, tobacco it’s KILLER! Smells like an authentic leather handbag in an upscale department store. It’s unisex but more feminine leaning. It’s killer. Athalia, Baccarat, Vanille Leather, Rolling in love, Love don’t be shy, those are all my babies.
I loveeeee Oh La La - it's probably becoming my signature scent considering how often I wear it 😂

By the Fireplace is my all time #1, but I get the strangest comments on it. One lady liked it and asked me what it was. I told her and then she basically berated me for “wanting to smell like a fireplace” lol. I like to use B&BW Whiskey Reserve lotion to layer. It’s so nice together.

YES, BR540 will always be my best fragrance. It literally is so well-blended. What’s crazy is I actually started out with the extrait… loved it and decluttered it 😆 then got the edp and fell in love even harder! It’s like an everything-in-one fragrance with its versatility!! I’ll honestly never get tired of it or talk of it! My other for life fragrance is Another 13 by Le Labo 😁

You should give Dossier Saffron Amber a try - It is a VERRRRY close dupe to BR - but I actually like it just a touch more, believe it or not!

Dossier Saffron Amber is a great dupe of BR540! I went through a bottle and I feel like it’s a very similar smell and one of the better dupes out there!!

Deffo agree on Bianco Latte and Mod Vanilla. A bit tired of the BR540 dna tho. Also! Only recently I got into Burberry Goddess. I HATED IT when I smelled it in the winter. Buuuuuut this ginger and lavender? On warm spring/summer nights???? That's lovely. Definitely too gingery for me for fall/winter tho.

I recently got a sample of Bianco Latte after seeing you and some other scent folks talk about it with such reverence. I was so excited to try it, and it smelled divine in the air. But it goes horribly savory on my skin! I think I dont like coumarin, and I could not get passed this weird stink. Broke my heart! But Akro Awake saved the day and gave me the most delicious, yummy experience that Id been hoping from Bianco Latte. Just goes to show how different all our noses can be! Love these videos!!

I change my mind about the only one I would ever need every time I smell a different bottle. I have a candle that smells like BR540 and I love it but my daughter is repulsed by it and HATES it. So that ain’t cool. Cloud smells good on others- baby diaper on me
I feel like florals, sweet, powdery, spicy etc are polarizing - ones I love people around me hate - the only universal ones I’ve ever found are fresh and clean / who would be repulsed? Probably no one.

Im so confused and sad because I am a gourmand girl thru and thru specifically vanillas are my thing and when I finally smelled Bianco Latte at scent bar I felt nothing!!! I honestly feel like I couldn’t even smell it very well like it was weak??? It might have been just olfactory overload because scentbar is a tiny room that smelled like 1000 perfumes at once but I was so sad I was expecting to smell it and fall in love 😭😭😭

So many great perfumes in your top 10!! I’ve been obsessed with Billie Eilish’s new album so it made me want to revisit her perfumes and Eilish no 2 has me in a chokehold right now. It just smells so unique to me - woody, spicy, darkly sweet… I love it.
Please do a coconut video. I love Skylar coconut cove and 7 virtues coconut sun but they don't last and I want to explore others. I'm not so into gourmand as much as I prefer clean and fresh scents. The coconut cove body mist was too much alcohol smell for me. Any bath and body works/ vs sents or something else along those lines?
This made me want to smell Valaya soooo bad! My top 5 are clean reserve skin, 4160 tuesdays dancing with strangers, replica by the fireplace, kyse delizia de marshmallow, and kayali yum pistachio gelato :)

I’m the exact same with flower bomb. It used to be too much scent for me, no I’m OBSESSED. And it LASTS which is the other thing I love. That’s the hard thing about perfumes these days, they don’t last like they used to.
Flowerbomb don’t last nearly as long as it used to. I bought one of the biggest bottles recently, and man it’s done within 2 hours. I’ve thought about selling it on my mecari. It’s so sad, yet my Flowerbomb nectar still lasts long as ever!
My top 5 favorite [brands] are Parfums de Marly, Amouage, Kilian, MFK, and Xerjoff.
And to follow up.. my [Top 6-10] would be The Harmonist, BDK, Frederic Malle, Tom Ford(before 2018), Memo, and Tiziana Terenzi.

Top 10 is hard probably easier to do 5 for me. Right now it’s Ani, dupes for BR 540, Bianco Latte (dupe), SDJ 40 (and all smell alikes), and Angel Muse (edt and edp).
I just got bianco latte and am so upset because I cannot smell it!!!! I don’t know if I got a defective one or if I’m nose blind to it. Everyone in my house can smell it except me, I was so excited 😭

I got a sample of Bianca Latte and I’m so glad I didn’t buy the bottle. I wanted to love this so much but it gives a weird scent on me. I don’t know how to explain it. Celeste from this brand I have a love hate because it also has a weird scent so I’m not sure what they use that doesn’t agree with me 😢
I don’t think I have 10 perfumes in my top - and I don’t own a full bottle of br540 but I would put it in my top 10 as it is on my wishlist for a full bottle. My other top perfumes are love and crime, lira, gypsy water, and light blue! There are a number I like a lot or haven’t been able to try enough to know if I would love it. My favorite scent profile used to be rose and violet but my faves were discontinued and I’m not sure I enjoy the rose as much- I haven’t found one that deserves a top 10 recommendation . It is definitely odd how I have come around to the love and crime vibe
What do you think about the BR 540 dupes like from dossier and the body spray from the bum bum folks?
@@hinternetz I have a dupe for br540 from oakcha that is nice- . I would have to compare again yo see what I think I he differences were. I don’t really locate for the body spray (pink one from sol de janeiro) I also don’t think cloud is a dupe - i have it and while I initially thought it was nice I don’t like it nearly enough to want to wear it very often… I think trying some of the high end stuff spoiled me 😂😂😂 my favorite bath and bodywork’s body spray is sweet whisky
