Aww huge congratulations to you, so glad you had such a great race, fab time but just wonderful that all the hard work with training paid off. I was at Red start too, it was my first time doing the London Marathon course but 2nd Marathon. I had done the London virtual marathon in 2021. Thanks Donato. Colchester Half Marathon on 21 May then I'm going to work on my 5k time. I will do another marathon but not this year!

what time did you arrive? I love arriving early and having time to settle in before the start, and. yours is the first video I've seen that didn't have insane crowds when you arrived, so I want to time accordingly :)
I arrived quite early, around 7:30 am I think. Can't remember now.

@@travelinquaker8598 just checked my email from last year and actually the coach got us to Blackheath around 8:15am so not too early. It started to get busy around 9/9:30. Get to the toilet early as well, the queues were crazy once the waves started!! Good luck , what time are you going for?
@@fatrunner thanks so much! I was aiming to arrive by 8 to have time to settle in, stretch, toilets etc. As for race time, just got over a bad bout of covid so just planning on finishing with a smile :)

It's been a while! Still enjoying running? I quit after The Big half but started again this January, not signed up to any races, just running for my mental health. No goals, no pressure, just running
Yeah still running but not quite as into into it now, motivation dropped off after London. Am doing my local half marathon next week.

Well done, I felt emotional completing the London landmarks half marathon. I am not sure i will get to do a marathon .

Hi, The elites start just before the fast runners so if you are a fast runner you can see the elites on the course.
im running in 11 days two year post amputee super worried but hopeful can cross the line great video mate are you there this year?

Yep, bought it on recommendation of a friend as I struggled to get hats to fit me. Maybe one day I can have my own hats made but not with less than 200 subs. 🤣
