- I'm so excited to show you all my first rally experience!
My dad signed me and my brother up so we could all attend the RallyMoto Wales 500 adventure event, a 500km two day event following road books round the Welsh countryside with a looooot of off-roading. Anyone who has been keeping up with this channel knows I have a crippling fear of riding off-road on anything except my own bikes - neither of which are overly suitable.
Finally it's my Svartpilens time to shine, I feel much better about taking him into the unknown because he's tiny, I can reach the floor on him, and deep down I don't really care about his wellbeing.
Here is the Day 1 video, where I learned to use my road-book (before giving up on it after my odometer app stopped working), and got comfortable on the various road surfaces.

Svarty's more than capable of tackling that terrain👍 Get yourself a set of 25-30mm bar risers to get those bars up higher for standing. Thro a decent set of adventure tyres on, and he's a fully fledged adv bike 👍👍 Also, there are racks and side plates available to attach luggage to him.

Thoroughly enjoyed that. I expected a more horrible surface but I can imagine riding that on my Bullet. It would kill my wrists, shoulders and back but …..

That pothole in the water makes you make that face when you run into an unavoidable pothole and you can hear it's expensive

Obviously you and the bike are semi competent 😂 but the off-road stuff made me cringe, I think I’d want something very light with nobbly tyres in that situation! Looks a fun but very physical days work.
