Pathos got the name as “Money Plant”from story from Taiwan. A person who was very poor and worried, some one gave Pathos to propagate and sell. He did it in a large scale and sold and made money out of it. Since then people believed that growing Pathos is a sign of growing wealth.

Hi, I loved your video. Can you please tell me where to keep the money plant ? I once kept it in the balcony and the plants became yellow and later died. But normally I see that money plants can grow any where, but for my case it didn’t happen. Please guide me. How to water and will it stay healthy if I keep it in my balcony where the light is very high.
Money plant can grow in any light condition . You can grow it indoors or outdoor. But is very sensitive to soil , fertilizer and watering schedule. You should have used well draining soil and fertilize it properly. It you want I can make a video for you. Please let me know. Thanks

A simple trick .. you have to grow up, supporting a small trunk to adhere their roots. If they fall down in the pot they are small when going up it will give you super large leaves. Support them to a wall, stick with their roots and see how the leaves grow.

You have to use river sand or any sand that has neutral pH value.
Beach sand is too much salty.

I am interested in growing some indoor plants. My house and office do not get direct sunlight. I Iove green and flowering plants and bonsai trees.
Please suggest the plants and ways to grow them.
We were staying in another house where we had direct sunlight. My wife used to grow seasonal flowering plants especially during winters. Now she is not very happy and does not enjoy new flat. We live in Mumbai in a Flat and has sufficient window slabs and sills to put up plants. I want to give her surprise and bring smiles to her face.
Please suggest indoor flowering plants or flowering plants which don't require direct sunlight.

Hi, reading through ur replies, I saw u suggesting aquarium fertilizer for money plant kept in bottles. I have an aquarium at home. What is aquarium fertilizer? Is it the aquarium water?
You can use aquarium water . It is quite useful. But I am referring to the fertilizer which is used to keep aquarium plants healthy.

Hi.. I appreciate your detailed guide on planting a money plant... but what I need help with is post plantation care... my money plant grew well when I'd planted the cutting newly.. but now the new leaves have started to turn white... I've used cocopeat and water it once a week when the soil dries out.. but the growth is retarded and leaves are scanty...please suggest what should I do to make it bushy, healthy and green again?

May be due to low light conditions. Change the location of the plant. Keep near bright window. Change the water in every 3-4 days. And keep the water for 24 hours aside before giving it to plant. Clorin present in tap water can damage your plant

It is volcanic ash used as potting media. It increases the airflow in soil . It keeps soil moist not wet. You can use brick chips as substitute .

I tried so many times to grow money plant but failed as it's roots don't grow and stem under water turn black.
Change water every day. Don't keep in full sun. Collect cutting from a healthy plant
