This is a great product, my toilet was leaking due to the flange being too low and the wax ring not sealing. I happened to find this on you tube while i was searching for help. Found this at my local home improvement store, worked perfect.
all i can say out of all the other products out there, this by far is the very best . thanks for your youtube clip/very helpful .(A.. PLUS) all the way. buyit you won't regret it. leaky repairs cost way more then,25.00 to do your job right the first time. God bless you.
I used one of the screw in flanges and it went down to where it was the thickness of the flange ABOVE the floor-- and the damn thing will NOT set level- it rocks- but I placed a level on it and it's NOT crooked.. Either way it sits the thickness of the flange ABVOE the floor- I can't drill into the concrete and it won't pull down any more anyway. I may have to cut it out and use a new one.. (I'm not able to do that drilling right now.)
My issue is, the flange height using the thinnest shim is a hair off the floor surface. If I used just the black seal ring and not the thinnest shim, the added flange will be just level to the floor height. If I use the thinnest spacer I am afraid the flange height could cause an issue when lowering the toilet on the wax ring. Will it sit just high enough off the floor to cause the toilet to move back and forth?
Do I really need to worry about a quarter of an inch gap between a tile job and existing, in-good-shape, flange? A 3/4 inch wax ring should seal in reality, right?

Does anything change if the floor is concrete? I"ve been told by plumbers not to drill into the concrete slab.
Does this work well with an ABS flange? And should the exterior perimeter be siliconed?

Does anyone know if the self tapping stainless screws are capable of going through concrete after they self tap through a cast flange?
Original toilet bolted to floor with pipe floor level. So, "all" I need to do is install the piece that fits flat to floor?
This is so good.
