Storyline:
Kotoha found out that Douma was a man eating demon, she couldn't believe what Douma did, Douma wanted to explain so Kotoha wanted to listen to his story.
Kotoha accepted that Douma was a demon because Kotoha loved Douma, Kotoha and Inosuke stayed with Douma! Douma suddenly called Kotoha to ask what was happening to him because he didn't knew what he felt, Kotoha explained that it was emotions/feelings then suddenly Inosuke talked! His first words were papa! Douma was happy because he talked.
Later that day, Kotoha made a haori for Inosuke which was something like Douma's, Douma adored what Kotoha made!
It was all fun and games until Muzan found out Douma was with a human so Muzan killed Kotoha, Douma was upset that Kotoha had to die that way but Kotoha wanted Douma to take care of Inosuke and he did..
Few years later Inosuke has grown up and Inosuke found out what a 'demon slayer' was. inosuke asked Douma if he could join the demon slayer corps but Douma refused because Douma was a demon, Inosuke begged and Douma just thought if he should let him become a demon or not...

Reason inosuke can become a demon slayer: he will most likely seek revenge against muzan for his mother's death, so it will be a more violent tanjiro

I honestly think that Douma and Kotoha would have became a couple if she didn’t run away. Douma was fond of her and had intended to keep her alive until she died of natural causes. He also killed her abusive husband and mother-in-law when they came to him after Kotoha ran away from them. Manga stated that he found them noisy but I like to believe he did it for Kotoha lmao.
Kotoha also seem to be fond of Douma as well. The taisho secret drawing them together was so cute 😭
Kotoha is the only human that Douma want to stay together. He feel happy everytime when he close to her. If they live together longer than this, they might have deep relationship.

@Hong Tran Douma actually had intended to keep Kotoha alive by his side until she died from natural causes. Only reason she died was because she ran away from him
