I had forgotten this! I used to do heat press logos on shirts at my family’s athletic store. I am 70 and that was in high school!
It’s nice to hear this is an old trick😊

OMG THANK YOU!!!! This was sooo helpful! I've watched other videos and even though I understood, I didn't feel confident in making the shirts because I felt it wasn't right. Nobody explained the line thing like you did. Btw, I absolutely loved the shirt you were wearing at the beginning of the video. Did you make the shirt or buy it? If you made it, would absolutely love a tutorial on it. Thank you again!
Thank you for the nice comment, I absolutely made the Tshirt myself and here a link

Question: Where did you get that beautiful image on your shirt at the start of your video?
Thank you. The design it a combination of two designs from design bundles
Thank you
You’re very welcome 👍🏽
Brilliant
Thank you
how far down would you go for a 6x shirt? I have a client that is quite large and wants embroidered shirts. is it the same for larger sizes?
Nice😁, any tips.on pressing these buttons shirts to avoid 😅them scorcking marks😅THANKS🥰
Just don’t let the botton get under the heat press
What about on a V-Neck tshirt?
It’s the same concept just that the 3inches below neckline does not apply directly as it is low already
Thank you so much! This helps since I don't have the L shape ruler. Since I'm doing an 2XL...would I go 3-1/2 or 4'" ? Thanks :)
4 down
@@thebademartdesigns thank you very much🥰
Thank you for this video, it is sooo much help!
Is this method works on every sizes? Small or extra large?
Btw, we use the exact same heat press at my work place lol
Yes it works for everysize, the only difference is the distance between your neckline to where your design is placed in the front. Example for children it's between 2 to 2.5 inches down the neckline and adult is 3 to 3.5 down from neckline in the front
@@thebademartdesigns Thank you so much for your answer!
I hope I will get better with this method!
🥰🥰🥰
Thank you very much for sharing this tip. I struggle with this as well.
You welcome 🤗
Is this method work for different sizes of logo?
Yes it does. Just make sure you know the middle of your logo.
What's the name of this stickers
I don’t understand what you mean by stickers but if you mean the design I placed on the tshirt it is Heat Transfer Vinyl
How do you use htv on 100% polyester?
Same as cotton, you only need to get a more stretchy HTV
Thank you so much…..
Is that the same with a v neck?
No it’s not because a vneck is low already and some are lower than others. You would have to determine how low your vneck is to determine placement. Some would be placed immediately after the v while some would require an inch or two after the v. It all depends on how deep your v is.
Is that for a persons name as well or just for a graphic
Same for anything on the left or right chest
@@thebademartdesigns Thanks. Great video, I just subscribed
Thank you 😊
What about polo shirts?
Then you use the line from where the collar ends
It is too close to your left arm and it’s too low about 1 inch think you should bring it up and bring it towards the centre and it will look a lot better
I will tell you why it looks like that, it's the size of the logo(4.5inches) compared to the size of the t-shirt(Medium). Not placement. The placement is good
I have been doing this for over a decade fulltime and I would definitely say you are close but missed... yes, I generally follow the collar seam (unless it is an oversized collar such as a scoop neck in which case I would eyeball 4" and keep as close to that as reasonable without interfering with the collar), however 3 1/2" down is clearly wrong on most situations.
On a lady's small shirt your round logo would become a bullseye on her left bosom. Also, just as the shirt you wore had the logo into the armpit which it should never be... caution must be used on the downside measurement especially when shirts are to be worn by women as one doesn't want to have a target there. When in doubt, head up a bit...
Very helpful. Thank you so much!
