Welcome to my personal growing review of peony ‘ lady Alexandra Duff’
An absolutely astonishing variety, which is in my opinion one of the best grown in my collection
Incredibly fast to establish and producing up to 6 blooms per stem this is a high performing variety for cutting and bringing into the house without ruining the display in the garden
Variety around 1 m tall and 1 m wide it has a long flowering season flowering all the way from late to the very early parts of July
Raspberry pink buds tinged with deep pink open to heavily ruffled semi double flowers that are light pink
The foliage is mid Green one of the few varieties that will enjoy a multitude of different locations in the garden anywhere from full Sun to partial shade just as long as it gets a rich moist fertile soil

Princess Alexandra Victoria Alberta Edwina Louise Duff, 2. Duchess of Fife. This peony from Kelway was named after her in 1902 when she was 11. 1993 this peony got the Award of Garden Merit from RHS. Love your videos 😉
