thank u so much for the lesson Rick, this videos help me a lot to grow as a musician. I've followed u for years and I've learned a lot from ur content, maybe u don't even notice that kind of stuff but I play pretty good, classical and electric, and it's all thanks to people like u that share their vast knowledge of music theory and guitar technique. A lot of times I´ve challenged myself to learn some of ur solos, like the one in jason richardson's album, and I've become a better player, and learned literally from u in a video u made teaching it. It's crazy man but this is huge, I've learned pretty much all I know from people like u, u're so generous and probably don't even realize it hahah

Symmetrical diminished is a useful scale. If you leave out the flat 2nd it's all blue notes.
