Hi! I am curious… have you checked the large beis in with United, or any airlines that has an over size of 62inches? UA has a limit of 62in but the large is 63.5, was just curious if you got charged a fee.

Mary!! There are packing cubes for shoes 😮 i usually do shoes, socks inside to keep them from getting squished, and belts to fill the bag out and make it easier to Tetris in suitcase

I don’t know what tanologist shade you wear but they have the medium shade in the travel size!
I also have daytime underwear and nighttime underwear. So I need at least twice as many pairs of underwear as there are days in the trip. But then if you want to shower before dinner that results in 3 pairs of underwear needed for a day…. So it adds up. But I’m also no stranger to washing socks and underwear in the shower if I didn’t pack enough and don’t have a washer/dryer.

I agree -Scuffs are normal. Better than putting plastic wrap on luggage to “protect” it , so dorky
I believe stuff is meant to be used yknow! I love wear and tear on my stuff, even on my nice stuff. I obviously care for my items and don’t treat them poorly, but well-used possessions are well-loved possessions in my opinion!

Nothing wrong with over packing. I have no idea why some people think they are superior because they go carryon only. Hell I like to over pack I pack what I want. For a 2 week holiday I use a large 30 inch checked case and just have a personal item bag

you should never spend too much $$ on luggage as it gets thrown around everytime. Not worth it.
yes! but also, because it gets thrown around a lot, you should make sure you’re getting a quality product so your stuff is protected :)
But a quality bag tends to hold up better when being thrown around. I mean you can spend $300 once or $100 every year buying a new suitcase. Not to mention that it would suck to be the person who is sitting on the plane seeing your luggage secured w/ tape because it busted open during the “throwing around” process. There’s also something to having a suitcase that rolls well, spins, is made of durable, quality materials. I mean if you fly once in a while it might not be a huge deal but I find it comforting to have quality luggage. To each their own.
She owns a few LV purses. It’s possible money may not be a concern or issue for her.
No one complains when a rich dude shows off his car collection, as well as no one complains their bag collection from #eastlisa
