Fucking mind blowing! I think Frusciante is easily ahead of his time! Would be surprised if music sounds more like this towards the end of this decade and start of the next, and who will be the trend setter? FRUSCIANTE!

John Frusciante says this album is the ultimate version of the musical statement he started to make with PBX. I'm excited to see what his next direction will be.

Always interesting and so appealingly good. I think his best material is still to come.

I love it. Whatever musical direction he chooses to go, I'll continue to listen. The Trickfinger album is amazing as well. Complete genius!

its good to see him still active in the music community and doing what he likes to do, but because his work with the peppers was so influential for me and the fact that i hate this sort of stuff is just sad for me

Some of the comments here remind me of children at Xmas, who weren't given the toy they so much wanted.

İs it possible to find this album version without electronic sounds, just his pure guitar riff and solos which was reason to love john :))

There's so many reasons to love John! Being versatile is his greatest strength. He's going to do what he wants to do regardless of what anybody thinks. I'm going to relax and enjoy the ride!

TheDanimusical some parts are made with a rhythm box, but sometimes i feel like its a real drummer

Some of the drums are samples from other songs and other parts of the drums that John has programmed into various Drum Machines, treating them with his modular synthesizers and effects.

It reminds me of Earthling of Bowie, but this is not that good.

That drum and bass, or dubstep part (i dont know what it is) doesn't fit with the good voice and the rest of the song.
